Super-early-morning

*Waking with a start when my alarm goes off, i slam it off and
lay back with a groan as i rub the sleep out of my eyes.
Dragging mkyself outta bed and dragging on my slippers and
housecoat i quietly go wake iona, toni and kiki and head
downstairs to the kitchen, unlocking the front door in passing.
Reaching the kitchen, i first of all slap on the kettle for tea,
and lay out a bunch of stuff on the table as i wait for the
others to appear.

*Wanders into the kitchen with a scowl on my face, so sooooo NOT
a morning person! Pulling out a chair from the table i plop
down into it and Lay my head on top of my arms, shutting my
eyes*

*Wanders into the kitchen carrying a still half asleep kiki on
my hip. Passing toni i give her a light smack on the back of
her head*
"Nu-uh brat, if we're awake you're awake!"
*heading to the cupboard i grab the tub of oatmeal cookies and,
picking up a sippy cup, i head to the fridge and pour a cup of
milk for kiki, before handing her 2 of the cookies and setting
her on her feet*

*As i'm making my tea i see everyone has finally made it
downstairs. Holding my finger to my lips to indicate that we
have to be quiet so as we don't wake momma. Takes a seat at the
table and points at the bunting, streamers, balloons and
paperchains on the table*
"Ok, so, the plan is to get this kitchen decorated an breakfast
ready before Momma wakes up! Iona, if you and toni concentrate
on the decorations, ill concentrate on getting the table and
breakfast on the go, ok?"

*Scowls at Iona as she smacks me upside the head but sits up at
the table, muttering under my breath. Looking at Willa as she
explainsthe plan i nod my head and reaching over the tablei pick
up the balloons
"I'll start blowing these up"

begin to hang it round the room*

*Smiles at the quiet activity and begins to set and decoratethe
table, making sure to use the good dishes this morning as its a
special occasion, and setting the coffee on to brew so that it
will be ready in time. Once i have the table set and decorated
to my satisfaction i begin to organise breakfast.

all the pretty wwrapped presents on a side table
