After the girls' snack I tell Toni to go on to her room and
immediately follow behind her,
grabbing the spoon off of the kitchen wall.
"Antonia," I say, just to let her know I'm behind her. "Why are
you in trouble?"

*Heads up to my room when nanty says to go. Glancing back when
i hear her behind me on the stairs, my heart sinking as i see
she grabbed the spoon of the kitchen wall. Unconciously
speeding up a lil to put room between me an Nanty, i answer her
question*
"UMM i'm in trouble acuzz i was mean to kiki?"

I can't help but chuckle when Toni speeds up before we reach her
room. "BAby, I'm not going to sneak attack you," I assure her as
I reach her room several steps behind her and shut the door.
Sitting on her bed I nod. "Yes. Now, come over here please. I'm
going to bare your bottom and lay you over my lap to spank you."

Putting the spoon aside I stand up and step toward Toni, gently
guiding her forward. I can tell she's nervous and I'm not sure
whether it's just because of the spanking or if there is a
larger reason behind it. I have a guess though.
"I know you don't want it, Toni. But you're going to get it.
Now, is the reason you're reacting so strongly the spoon?"

*Goes with Nanty as she guides me forwards. Glancing up at her
then away again quickly, i tries to reason things out in my
head. I knows i didda bad thing scaring kiki, an bad things for
usuals means a spankin, butt that spoon looks big an scary.
but's nanty, an nanty no scaries. Frowns a lil as i thinks this
out in my head. Looks back up at you*

I rub Toni's arm as she tells me that she is scared because of
the spoon. "Okay," I answer with a nod. "It is big and scary," I
agree with her, "which is why I chose it' I wanted to get your
attention," I explain. "Much like you made Kiki feel afraid of
what school would be like when you told her it would be like the
movie Matilda. It's no fun, is it?"
