it out and half laughs*
"I guess that means the monkeys awake! Good luck?"
*Still kinda chickling to myself i head off to the scullery to
grab the duster and stuff ill need to clean the living room*

*Sticks my earbuds in as i set to work cleaning the livng room.
Takin the duster i i dust soff all the dust from everywhere
first of alls, getting rid of the cobwebs in the corner,
SQUEALLLINGGGG as i get hit by a low flying spider in the
process. Giving it a whack with the duster i shudder,
wondering if nanty would let me away with the rest cossa the
trauma............shrugs and figures prolly nots! Grabbing the
furniture polish i shine up alla the surfaces that needs shined,
polishing them till they gleam!, before washing downw the
windows and finally arunning the vacuum cleaner round the floor.
Plopping down on a window seat, shattered after all of that, i
glance at the time and see theres just about enough time before
supper to get the laundry done. Sighing softly to myself, i
take qa quick 5 minutes to catch my breath.*

After getting Kiki all clean and dry and dressed I head back
downstairs to get Iona's help with dinner.
"Okay, Kiddo. It looks good in here," I smile at her. "What was
the screaming earlier?" I ask, curiously as I lead the way into
the kitchen and get out the sack of potatoes.

I chuckle when Iona says a baby tarantula attacked her. "Well
then I guess we should have dusted more often," I muse. "Thank
you for volunteering for that chore, Iona." I give my niece a
grin and
a wink. "Once per week will be great."
"Okay, we need6 potatoes and then they need to be washed and
then peeled. And then you can put them on the stove in water to
boil, please. And also don't forget the salt."

*grumbles about nanty saying i volounteered for dusting the
living room. Taking the tatties from nanty i count out 6 and
dump them into the sink to wash. peeling them carefully, i look
over at nanty
"How small dyou wat them cut up nanty? and how much salt do u u
put in the water?"

Putting the chicken in the oven I answer my niece, "just a
teaspoon of salt, honey.
And you can just quarter the potatoes, please."

Nods at Nanty when she answers my questions and begins
quartering the potatos, after filling the pot with water and
tossing in a teaspoon of salt. Tossing the tatties in the pan
i carefully carry the pan to the stove, then gathering up all
the tattie peelings i chuck them in a bucket ready to go to the
composter when we done.
"Ok so that the tatties ready nanty, what next?"

"I think that's good, Sweetheart," I answer when she asks what
next. "Thank you, sweetheart."
When dinner is close to being ready I have Toi set the table as
I put the food on Toni and Kiki's plates, letting Iona and Willa
make their own.
Once dinner is over, since Kiki has already had her bath, I tell
Toni, "you can go on and have your bath or shower now, please."
I get Kiki set up with a movie and tell the older two, "you can
have some down time until bed. Iona, I'll be in your room at
10."
((Iona you can start the next part in your bedroom please.))
