"Well, the tea should help and you might want to try that dry
toast. As well, water should help. The issue is that alcohol
dehydrates you."

*Nods at nanty, thinking that something to eat probably wouldn't
hurt right now! Moves to the toaster and pops a couple slices
in, thinking about what you said*
"So, how come it makes you dehydrated? An whyyy would people do
this for fun? i mean seriouslyyyy!

When Iona asks the question about why drinking makes a person
dehydrated I can't help but smirk a little as I say, "that's
something you can answer for yourself in your research." With
that I kiss her on her forehead. I don't reply directly to the
rest of what Iona says on the subject, but I am relieved that
she feels that way!

*Groans and thinks to myself, ONE of these days ill remember to
keep my mouth shut before i dig a bigger hole for myself!
Grabbing the toast from the toaster as it pops, burning my
fingers a lil cos, you know, toasts HOT!, i slap it on a plate
and takes it and the tea to the table and with a sighs, settles
back down into the essay as i nibble on my toast - once its
cooled!*

"I love you too," I answer slightly amused at the groan from
Iona. And with that, I go back to the laundry.

*after having been working on my essay for quite some time,
having completed a rough first draft and scribbling away some
notes and things id forgotten to add, in the middle of one such
paragraph i suddenly lose my train of though. After staring
into space a few seconds, pen still poised over the paper, i
give up! Tossing my oen across the table, i push the chair
roughly back from the table and stalk over to the back door,
opening it wide, suddenly feeling the need for fresh air.
Closing my eyes i take some deep breaths, lifting my face to the
slight breeze blowing on my face*

More time passes and I go in to check on Iona again. Seeing her
at the door I chuckle quietly. "How's it coming, honey?"

*hearing Nanty i open my eyes and turn to look at her,
frustration showing on my face.*
"Ok i guess - i was in the middle of writing and i just totally
lost what i was trying to say its like my mind just went NOPE!2

I chuckle quietly at what she has to say. "well, I don't see the
harm in your going outside for 20 minutes or so," I tell her.
"Just no leaving the yard."

*Looks at Nanty when she says i can go outside for a bit,
slightly startled and smiles, going over to nanty, i give her a
quick hugggggg*
"Thanks Nanty!"
*Grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, i head on outside,
taking a short wander round the yard before curling up on the
porch swing for a short while before heading back inside with a
clearer head to work on the last of the essay.*
