smiling ruefully as she says to let her know if i need anything*

*Sighs again and gets up from the table and goes to fetch
notepad, pens, and her laptop from her room, and while I'm up
refills my coffee mug, figuring I'm gonna need all the help i
can get. Quietly settles down at the kitchen table, booting up
my laptop to begin researching. Looks up as my messenger pings
with about a million messages from friends and, after glancing
quickly at what the messages are saying, logs out without
replying*
