Peace as your umpire in life.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Jesus left an extremely precious and often overlooked gift for
       us......His very own peace !
How much that becomes worth to you, will depend on how much of
it you enter into, and how you will then know within a split
second, when something tries to 'upset' that peace within you,
so you can then deal with that.
We are told to go as far as using this peace, as our umpire in
life......but of course, one needs to have tasted of that peace,
before being able to do so.
If at any time we feel anxious, fearful, doubtful or even just a
bit down.....Well ?..That surely isn't peace, right ?
Once again, the sad thing is that most religious dogma, requires
so much striving, and studying and has so many demands attached
to Salvation, that few ever really even believe they can enter
into that rest, while still in this body.........
But truly, we can !.........I am not saying I can do it at all
times, believe me, I get plenty of opportunity to let that peace
be stolen from me, but as Jesus showed me many years ago......I
do not have to try to fight the enemy to get my peace back...all
I have to do is to stand firm in Christ and then to let it
're-sprout', so to speak, within my own heart.
His Word is a living word, it never runs out of the life nor
       power it possesses.....
So if any of you, think there's a thing, which causes you to
'lose' your peace........Please remember, you cannot really lose
it, because it is alive in you !.......All you need to do is to
let it prosper once again, in His glorious love and peace.
Have a wonderful day, each and every one of you.....Pia

AMEN! Excellent word. Needful in these days.
I remember a lady teaching me and saying - " If you ever lose
your peace , ask yourself- "Who moved"? Because it wasn't Him.
He that dwelleth in the Secret Place Of The Most High shall
abide under the Shadow of the All Mighty...
Dwelling and Abiding... peace indeed. x

[/quote]Hahaha, clever teacher !......Oh gosh the first 'church'
I was joined with for a short time, had all of us, all day long
rebuking devils, and praying and pleading with God ( which I
found so odd ), to restore them.
Once Jesus showed me ( years later ) that everything He has
given us, is without end......God never runs out of anything,
and neither should we......We may lay down ( keeping it idle ) a
gift given to us, but we can also choose to pick it back up.
I have to remind myself often, that we simply cannot just lose
anything He has given us.....it is forever !
God bless you mightily Helen, so good to be in touch
       again.......:D
