Lordship

What is Lordship? Lordship is the knowledge that the Lord is
always there and nothing is out of control, at least not his
control. This is a good word for parents that have or have
children out doing their own thing and some maybe even trying to
distroy themselves. This would be a perfect example of the
scripture that says "train a child in the way they should go and
when they get old they will return." I have witnessed this
happen time and time again. Now alot of us have taken that
scripture to mean they need to be in church everytime the door
is open. That could be part of it but that is not what it says.
It is the parent that is responsible for training a child not
some stranger. Stability is a factor at this point and some
children may be better off trained by someone else, but the
scripture says we train them not someone else.
What is the point here in parenting? Parents need to know what
to teach and have an understanding of what they teach. You are
not ask to run willy nilly through the scriptures to try to make
out some kind of teaching for a child. A child can be taught
Lordship, allow a child to make their own decisions and live
with them because they were taught "Jesus is Lord and he is
there with you even until the end." I believe a parent should be
concerned about their child and their actions, but I also
believe that if you have taught them you should let them grow up
into him on their own. They don't need to hear God will get you
if you mess up, for the simply reason that is not true, and
secondly they will totally rebell against law teaching. If they
do last through the law teaching days most are miserable and
have come to accept religion as their Christianity. As we learn
to see through life's situations to him who is our life so can
they that are taught to see through their problems to him.
We basically teach what we know, that is a large part of the
gift discernment, it comes from experience and knowledge. I
remember kids that were raised in a law home where God was a
giant correction officer. Most of those kids still today want
absultely nothing to do with God, I can't say that I blame them.
I'm sure some if not most are born again because they had
experiences with God. Lordship does not leave you, Jesus is Lord
and will work through your life but will not force anyone to do
anything as we know. The facts are as long as our children
belong to the Lord they will be alright. If you understand
correction then you can let go of having to control by law. Our
father takes care of his own and he will correct whom he loves
by the perfect correction. He knows what you know, he knows what
you were taught and why you react like you react.
A quick word on childhood! Some children had a great childhood
and some not so good or whatever. Whatever the situation your
childhood will always be your teacher. The way you were raised
is the way you will be handled by the Lord because he deals with
us based on my understanding. As good or as bad, do not despise
your childhood, it will be the most important part of your
understanding and growth and when you are talking about growing
up into him it does not matter what happened, it happened and
now let the Lord use it for his glory. I have seen those that
felt like they had it to easy as a child and they want to punish
themselves. I have seen those that had it hard and cannot get
over the pain. They are all real but it is your up bringing that
the Lord will use to cause you to grow beyond what you can think
or understand in mind on your own. You cannot allow the mind
abuse to carry on any further now you are a Christian.
Christian's should be the most stable part of life in a world of
death, disease, distruction, and abuses. Remember the song
"where could I go but to the Lord." Well that is where every
Christian should be in their understanding. They should be a
part of solving every problem that comes to them. People should
feel they can come to you because they trust you, and when they
come you have answers. You are him now in a human body again
just like his Mary body but now it is your body with your mind
your creation. Allow this mind to be in you that was in Christ
Jesus. Bless you.
