I don't get anything.
I have an advert BLOCK.
Forgotten what it is called. My grandson installed it for me. I
think it is called ADD BLOCK.
Other than that the Site owner has to pay to have no adds!! So
maybe Ray can instal the add block for you.

I hadn't noticed them - I use Chrome with an ad-blocker, so it
works.
If I was running a service like createaforum.com, I think I
would probably have delayed activation of ads on users forums.
Don't put people off before the forum is established.
I used to run a couple of websites that made quite a bit of
money from displaying adverts - ad-blockers used to annoy me
greatly and I spen quite a bit of time trying to defeat them.
No I use one. How hypocritical lol

Pat my love, I run Adblocker or to be truthful did. Then the
other day my browser said that I could speed it up by going to
some page which I did and Firefox did a speed up thingy and now
I have adds again because firefox took away my adblocker.
I say this just in case you have also carried out some form of
update to your computer and this has removed whatever was
blocking the adds.

Took me 30 seconds Pat!
I just did a seach for add block and a page came up from Google.
I think clicked the one that said "ABP add on for Mozella
Firefox" . Job done, now no adverts.

Once I'd done the system restore the ads weren't there anymore.
