Last weekend I had my two youngest grandchildren staying over
and wasn't able to use my PC because it's in the bedroom they
use when they're here. After a couple of days without the
hassle I decided to have a longer rest and now I'm ready to
start again.

This is my blog so it needs stickifying.
It is officially the first day of autumn and has been a stunning
day here. The trees are turning into their autumnal colours and
across the road is a chestnut tree with masses of conkers
already to fall. Having had a boy, I learned to love conkers.
My daughters never collected them but Gareth always did.

Lovely Blog Pat :)
I still haven't grasped how to load pictures or even the YouTube
video's. Nicky told me once, and I thought that I had it
down...but I can never get it to work right. Clever girl :)
As for locking of threads, that was both Mike and Ivor playing
silly watsits. It sure wasn't James or I. I thought the Life
Standard one had potential. But all water under, now.
I thought of you yesterday when the geese were going back and
forth practicing over the house in their V formations...I hope
when they leave, if they haven't already, that they come to
England and not down to Texas to find guns waiting in the
bullrushes.

This was at the Dales Bible Week in 1984 - in the August after I
was baptised - so Ray and I are among that lot and our then
pastor is the drummer.
