This Place Is Peaceful!

Bounced around the forums today, and I must say things seem
noticeably more relaxed here than at the other sites I visited
today. Nice being able to just post things, views, opinions,
theological positions, whatever, among friends without being
apprehensive about potentially getting mauled over it, LoL. Even
the current CB crowd makes me a little nervous, tell you the
truth; too nervous to post without thinking I might regret it.
Not what I expected in coming here, but it's a noticeable
difference. Pretty pleasant!
Note: I guess maybe the Mike thing was taxing on everyone here,
but for me this place's been a breeze so far; breezy enough that
I thought it was worth posting a thread.
I suppose the trick is maintaining it, yes? I.e. Maintaining it
without letting the ugly creep in and gain a foothold?

Well that was the aim of LW - hopefully most of us are adult
enough to handle different views.
I know what you mean about being cautious of what you post on
some forums,I am sure Helen will be encouraged by your words xx
I am struggling to sleep tonight - it’s 1pm , think I should
delete all the news as it’s beginning to creep into my thoughts
as I try to get to sleep x

Hi HIH,
Yes, this site is just as Helen envisioned, really. Like a
quiet room to visit. Especially when things get out of control
and mean spirited on other sites. So then, I'd say this is
looking like success! :)

So then how many devils are there in this "peaceful" place?
As to banning those, first, the one with authority to ban has to
know the meaning of you words: logical dialectic.
Jesus said clearly that one was a devil, but he did not ban him
at all. Are we able to do that? Can embrace as a friend the one
we know is planning our betrayal?

I know this site is slower than most...but for me, quality tops
quantity any time. ✟

It takes about about three hours before I drop off again.

Im around, just nothing to write about. Upset the admin in so so

I've always liked this place and though there are disagreements
there isn't much nastiness as there is on the other site. It's
good to see it get a new lease of life as others from there join
us.
