God our Provider

In scripture, an ark has always been God's provision for
protection. For Noah it was a boat in which his family found
safety from the flood. For Moses, it was a basket in the
bulrushes—his temporary shelter from the Pharaoh's oppression.
For Israel, it was a wooden box overlaid inside and outside with
gold, containing tablets of stone, the golden pot of manna, and
Aaron's rod that budded. The Ark of the Covenant was more than
just a unique furnishing with supernatural powers; it was also
the Israelites' means of relating to God. For us, the ark, our
place of safety—protection, provision, and power, is found in
Christ.
Though the entire world is currently in a crisis, we who are
Believers in the one true God are promised God's presence and
His protection if we abide in Him—our Ark. We are not exempt
from problems along the way, but we have the assurance that He
is with us always and will never leave us or forsake us.
How blessed we are to have strength and encouragement available
to us in Christ through a body of Believers to pray for and to
stand in faith with us in difficult times. The benefits we reap
through fellowship are not for us alone but for hurting people
world-wide—believers and unbelievers alike.

I think I am a bit of a yo yo Christian as I seem to find rest
in Christ, then I move out from that , then back in again !! Lol

I like the verse in Revelation where Jesus says " and he shall
go no more out...but be a pillar in His temple.

Peaks and valleys...He is there no matter what. How relaxing it
is to have such a solid God :)
