       Windows 10 unfamiliarity.
       By: guest36 Date: March 3, 2020, 3:07 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Recently I stumble upon a 13" Factory recondition Windows 7
laptop which I must have bought and then laid aside.
But it's in superb condition and now suits my level of
       immobility.
So I updated it to Windows 10 (with which I was totally
unfamiliar) and what a PitA it initially turned out to be.
Every time I moved my cursor from left to right (even when it
was already well to the right of centre) my screen collapsed.
Eventually I found the unique way in which Windows 10 gets me
into 'Control Panel' and found that it was 'swiping' that was
causing my problems and, having disabled it, 'problems solved'.
And whilst I was there I was able to choose a pointer for my
cursor that far better suits my failing eye sight.
Wowserville and PtL I can now type a post far quicker than I
could a day or so ago.

Yay!! Go you Mike!! You so often call yourself a Dumbo, but
where devises are concerned you are no slouch! Especially for a
man in his 80's to teach himself so much.
       Well done... H
