Slight glitches
By: guest55 Date: February 29, 2020, 10:17 am

Do we have single place to report small glitches. Maybe
questions etc.. I went to reply to a thread and could not. Do
members have the option to not allow replies? IS there something
i am missing? I have no problem if members choose to post with
out replies .

The only time I have had that problem was once when Dave wrote a
long post then yelled to me that he couldn't post it. When I
looked at his screen he was not logged in to the forum , but
trying to write from 'outside' ( which can be done as a visitor)
Im pretty sure there is no option when a member cannot receive
replies.
Only in the Notifications and Inboxes..then it can be blocked by
choice.
I'm sorry that it happened. [emoji17]
Did it finally 'post' for you?

NOPE ??? i can 'reply ' here to you but not in the thread
Jewels ? It is ok . I see your replied there was it your admin
permissions that allowed you to post? When moderating/admin i
had to keep
a ' member test account'. I do not envy you in regards to the
adminship :)

I had the same problem as Reba with Charity's new post, Jewels,
this morning. I could not respond to it at all.
Helen, you are the only one who answered Charity and then
apparently locked the thread. When I saw that I presumed you did
it on purpose, but now see that that is not the case. Perhaps
you did it unintentionally. As administrator you are probably
the only one who could do that,

I have all kinds of irritating little problems with this forum,
in the way of glitches and navigation. To this day, if I reply
to someone's PM... I just have to hope it went through. I
cannot even look up any past replies I have made.
There is a message saying I responded to the PM, but I can never
find what I sent.

The answer just stares one in the face.
Seek and ye can hardly fail to find.
But if you really can't, and no one else tells you how, then
I'll shine the light.

The forum's software is set so that, in addition to admin, the
person who began a thread can lock and unlock it at any time.
Th facility shows up to whoever started the thread, at the very
bottom of the thread's page.
This is Reba's thread and she can prove this out by scrolling
down to the bottom of the thread's page where she will see her
lock/unlock options.

For the first few days on here I was able to click "view list"
to see who had clicked on a post with an opinion, but for a last
couple of days it doesn't work at all. I am able click giving a
person a "like" or "agree" but I cannot get the "view list" to
work. Any other answers?
