Marriage breakup x

Hi everyone,
Wonder if you would join me in prayer for my oldest son Mark,
and his wife Hayley. They have been having problems within their
relationship for some time- but things reached a head when my ex
died ( marks dad ) in December. Thee are so many reasons, so
many issues- but they are too personal to share.
Two days ago Mark decided that he had enough, he left the family
home.
There are things that are just acting as barriers - Mark cannot
get passed them. Hayley doesn’t let many people in , so we
cannot talk to her right now. She has one good friend who is
helping her. She is not in a good place.
It’s not been an easy relationship to observe over the years x
Please could you pray for Hayleys protection and for their
future- at the moment I don’t know whether their marriage can
survive. Mark watched me stay in an unhappy marriage for too
long, so he does t want to just stay for the wrong reasons. I
don’t think things have been good for about two years.
Mark is still dealing with grief, and Hayley thinks he should be
over it, unfortunately she has never experienced grief of losing
someone close and I am not sure she has the ability to be
empathic in some situations.
She endeavours to control as a means of protection ,on the
inside she is a very vulnerable person, it as I said she will
not let us in. I am concerned about her well being. X

What a can of worms you have had to live with for several years,
I pray as much, if not more, for you as I do for Mark and
Hayley.

yes Rita we will stand with you as you stand with them.
And we pray protection for Hayley from the dark thoughts which
come upon her.
Please keep us update here.

Also praying for all involved in this difficult time Rita! I
remember when my son ended up divorcing his first wife. I am
praying God will work it out for the good of all.

Well Mark text me today and said they are talking, but that it
was all so messy.
I did relay that it would be like that for awhile, but it was
good that they are talking.
God can unravel the mess, I think my prayer would be that they
are both able to look at themselves with honesty, but look at
each other with compassion and understanding. They need openness
to unravel all the things that have contributed to the issues
they now face.
I do actually feel able to leave this situation with God, but
would prefer to have others praying as well xx

I haven’t heard much from my son, but his planned birthday party
is now back on for Friday evening ( it was originally a
surprise one , and was cancelled when he left the family home )
This is a sign that communication between him and Hayley and
reaped something. Mark will be 40years old tomorrow ......he.
brought about my most treasured role of being a mum.
I will know more of how things are over the next few days x

I will be praying for this too Rita. God is so faithful. He
can reconcile your son and his wife...I pray for this for them,
and for you as well to have His peace through this!
