'Users Logged in Today'

I've only just worked out the reason why some of the members
listed are shown in bold type.

Anybody else who has been as
'dumbo' as me?

Well, don't feel like the lone ranger Mike, you're not the only
"dumbo" on here...I have no clue why some are bold and some are
not! :-\o

Sometimes I feel more bold than at other times. Is that
reflected in the members list?

I just looked at all 28 names on the member list, and none of
them are bolded.

Agree...they all look pale to me...none are bold.
Except Episkopay maybe ...he says that he feels bold at
times.[emoji23]

I'm not as 'dumbo' as I feared since no one (not even our
administrator) has come up with the answer.
Now I'll tell you how to make the same discovery that I made.
Select any member who you particularly like and, if you haven't
already done so, add them to your buddies list.
And bingo their names will suddenly become emboldened in the
list.
Not in the "complete list of 28 members" .....solely in the list
shown at the very bottom of the page when you first log-in (as
per the thread title).
Big deal? ...well, as we used to say on my earlier forums, "not
exactly a row of cottages at stake". ;D

Lol - we have a buddy list !!!
I did not know that - and obviously those who have mentioned
that no names are in bold , equally know that as it means they
have no buddy's - how do you make someone a buddy ?
To be honest I think you are all my buddy's anyway - but does
the buddy thing do anything else Mike ( when you were following
someone on CF it would give you notifications of their posts )

I think we would be better served if Karma, Buddies, and
'Ignore' were all disabled, and if Helen agrees and wants to
phone me I can talk her through the process.
PS, 'Ignore' and 'buddies' can surely be left since some members
don't even know of the existence of 'buddies' and if we are to
be of any use as a forum none of us should ever resort to
'ignore'.
'Karma' is dead simple to disable and, if disabled will delete
any previous applications.
I know I should use PM to tell this to Helen but I just can't be
bothered so I'm doing it here.
Click on 'Admin'
Click on 'Core Features' under 'Configuration' in left column.
Scroll down and unclick the green icon to the right of 'Karma'
Scroll down and click on 'Save' (bottom right).
Job done.

I didn't even know we had an ignore feature - can't see any of
those being relevant here xx

While I still find this forum more difficult to navigate than
many others, I am slowly getting a little more used to it.
However, there is one feature that I really miss.
There seems to be no MY CONTENTS list whatsoever. At least,
none that I can find anywhere. I would like to see everything
someone, including myself, has posted in the past, as we can do
on just about every other forum.
Is there such a thing? And if so, how do you activate it?
