       The Revelation Gospel
   DIR By: Soulman

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Ironic thing about scripture is it has many messages that we
call gospels. What is meant by that? It means Adam had a message
for his day, Noah had a message for his day, Abraham had a
message for his day, and so on. What Adam had did not fit what
Abraham had for his day, or what Moses had, did not fit for a
hold over for the born again. They would have a message of their
own for their day. So how should we apply what is said in the
Old Testament to our understanding; anything before the cross
has to be used as life application, or we see in the history of
the scriptures a coming savior that would save the world,
       prophecy.
You will not find in the written scriptures in the Old Testament
that God was going to be birthing his own children. That is way
beyond a major point in your understanding. If you do not
understand scripture in this way you can never apply what is
written directly to you only from the Apostle Paul to the born
again. What happens is we try to apply scripture that does not
belong to us as a message, a gospel. We have but one gospel that
is written directly to the born again and it is not a mixture of
the Old Testament and the New Testament. The two will not mix
together, it's like oil and water, day and night, law and grace,
they absultely will not mix together.
You can force the two to fit together but you end up with a
commingled gospel of confusion proclaiming; we can never know
for sure, only God knows, when we get to the other side we will
know. Any manner of suggestions because "the gospel of the Lord
Jesus Christ has escaped you." The " revelation gospel" Paul
       calls it, Galatians 1:11-12,
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was
preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it,
but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. - Galatians 1:11-12.
You cannot commingle Old and New for the simple reason: one is
Old and one is New, you need the New to go with your new
       creation.
Paul wrote the gospel (he calls this gospel his), and his gospel
was "the revelation of Jesus Christ." He further wrote "when it
pleased God to reveal his son in me," so his gospel was a
revelation of the indwelling Christ who was in Paul. He goes on
to write; that Christ is in every born again believer, wow dear
friend what a message written directly to the born again, you
and I for the saving of the soul. Saved in spirit the moment you
believed and now Paul gives the answer for soul deliverance,
glory! Free at last, thank God almighty free at last, to quote.
There is no other answer for your dilemma, God has provided
everything every believer will need to understand Christ in them
in this life now, not then, we need it now, Hallelujah! The
revelation of Jesus Christ comes to every believer in the
       father's time, Galatians 4:1-2,
1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth
       nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of
       the father. - Galatians 4:1-2

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly
       furnished unto all good works.

The issue with Scripture, by definition, the Koran is scripture
as is any Holy book, than there is the part that was inspired
and that which was not. Without the spirit, its just a book and
we can see what happens when people study it.

Yes that is true. I'll define scripture I'm talking about as our
Bibles, the inspired word of God.

Yes it is all the inspired word of God, it is just not all
written to the born again as a message. They have a separate
message from any other group in scripture. For instance; can a
believer find the "in Christ" gospel before Paul tells the
believer. If you search the scriptures you find the answer is no
they can't find the in Christ gospel until Paul. It is like the
"born again," you will not find it written until Paul. Actually
Paul never uses the words "born again"," he uses the word"
mystery, " which has the same connotation. So I'm not saying all
the word of God is not inspired, or that he didn't use the other
Apostle's, he did. If you look at 1-2 Peter, you see phenomenal
growth and understanding compared to his message on the day of
Pentecost. But Paul would be compared to Moses who gave the law,
Paul was used to bring in Grace as a message or gospel. We live
in a different time after the cross and need a gospel to go with
       it.

Again which part?. See that is the issue, God gave us Jesus,
Jesus went back to God so we could have His Spirit, yet all
christians want to talk about is the bible, and Jesus,
Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have
eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Joh 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
Yet none go to Him because they have the bible.
Joh_6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth
nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and
       they are life.
       still no one is listening.

When that passage was written Ivor the New Testament had not
been put together ( well the bible was not in existence as we
know it ) it would have been in reference to the scrolls that
Paul would have from the Old Testament.
It doesn't mean that it isn't a true statement, but it's written
in one context and often taken in another.
We can learn so much from the OT, but don't you thinks it's
important to understand what is being said to who and why - many
take everything literal and transfer a message for a period of
time and presume it is also a direct message to us today.

       Hello @Soulman,
With respect, though I would like to engage with, and respond to
your posts, I find it difficult to follow what you are saying,
or pin it down Scripturally. Can I begin by asking you to
explain your use of the term, 'The Revelation Gospel'? What
does it consist of? For it is not a term used in Scripture?
       * If you are using this term to convey your understanding of the
revelation of God given to Paul concerning the church of this
present dispensation: then you will be relating to the later
epistles of Paul, in which He makes it known; namely, Ephesians,
Philippians and Colossians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon,
upon the foundation of Romans 5:12-8:39. These books were
written to those who already believed on the Lord Jesus Christ
as their Saviour and Lord, but for whom a new administration of
God was made necessary by the failure of Israel to repent and
acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as their Messiah and King.
This eventuality was known and prepared for by God, in Christ
Jesus, before the world began, but the knowledge of it remained
hidden in God until it's revelation to Paul. (Ephesians 3:9 &
       Colossians 1:26).
       Thank you
       In Christ Jesus
       Chris

The revelation gospel is coined from Paul. He said his gospel
was not taught to him by man, but by "the revelation of Jesus
       Christ."
