Hello!

Hi everyone. I am Mayflower! It has taken me a bit of time to
post a thread, because the set up is a lot different then what I
am used to on forums. I thought That plus sign was part of an
ad. Lol.
But glad to finally say hello! A few here will know me from
Christianity Board. I am also lily00 on Christian Forums.
I'm sort of on and off. Been facebooking a lot lately. And been
a bit tired. Due with a baby boy end of June! And I have a very
sweet 2 year old daughter and hard working husband. That about
it for now. Pretty tired, but havent been able to get to sleep
yet. But love to talk about Jesus and fellowship. God bless
ya'll!!!

Hi there young "flower"...glad to see you.
Hoping the pregnancy is going well.
Now many months will there be between them?
I had 17 months between mine. I really wanted twins, but when
that didn't happen , we just wanted two close together.
I am so glad I did it. The older one was toddling around when
the second one was born. But she promptly 'sat down' and never
walked again until she was 22 months and the baby had started
trying to pull herself up. ...... :D
You will be busy xx

Ha! That's funny. Now, I wonder if your older toddler was
somehow jealous of your younger one? And, her way of acting out
was to just sit there, and not toddle around? I'm sure you and
Dave gave her kudos for her attempts at walking...hmm. That is
funny she would do that! You both had to wonder why she
suddenly did not toddle anymore?

Oh no...we never had to wonder, we knew! [emoji2]
She must have said to herself, 'well if the baby gets carried
about, so will I'.
And if I was in two minds , it was confirmed shortly. I placed
the baby on the couch next to her one day, and as I turned to
get my cup of tea, she promptly hit the baby on the head! No, no
guessing needed.
I had to go into stores with one on each hip for ages. ( even in
those days I wouldn't leave them outside, as others did )
She did talk very early though. And today they are very very
close.

I had 18months between my first two children, they grew up
really close- then I had a gap of 9years before the younger two
came along!
Never wish for twins Helen, I love being a twin but would not
want them to look after !! Lol
Hope you are well Mayflower , nice to see you here xx

That's a different one.
I remember our second one, a girl, was one of those who never
crawled on her hands and knees. When she was able she began to
scoot around on her butt. She did that until sometime before her
first birthday, when she pulled herself up onto her feet and
began walk to catch up with her older brother [18 months apart].
She never did crawl.
