I see we've just lost 16 members.
I have their email addresses so maybe we could re-invite some of
them ;D

Gagreel Is my daughter Julie.
Laterunner is my brother Neil...neither of those would be
interested.
Kerry may..or may not, he has his own site.
Heartsong as we know is Cathey ...she is having health issues.
Brad won't anymore and hardly posts
These are none posters I guess ...but then again..with the site
laying dormant we all have been none posters! LOL
The only ones there I see that may be interested are Mary Anne
..who is usually just "Mary" ...and Colin Freener ...but then
again he popped on the CB board for about two weeks then was
gone again.
Nah...it's probably not worth contacting any of them really.
Not seen Happy Heretic on any Site for years...
Maybe James is just tidying up behind the curtain , now that the
site is re-activated again.

Given me a chance to heal any wound with James....as per the
email that I've sent to him and copied to you.
I think there's a song that goes something like "the best part
of breaking-up is making-up again". ;D

Do you mean you JUST lost those members. Just now, since
others have signed on?
Or, do you mean you have ONLY lost 16 members since this forum
was originally shut down awhile back?

Just bit of internal politics.
James is the owner of the site but when Createaforum.com (the
site's provider) hit hosting problems in 2018 James branched out
with an alternative Forum and abandoned this one.
Both Helen and myself always preferred this one and, together we
agreed to try to relaunch it.
But James is still it's owner, originating Administrator, and
member, and is entitled to pitch in. Which he did earlier today
and deleted 16 of our oldest members who had either submitted no
posts, died, or not posted for a couple of years. Helen is
James' sister and she has always retained her 'assistant' admin
status which enabled us to relaunch the site.....nuff said,
soonest mended eh?

Oh, no worries Willie...James was just 'spring cleaning' ....and
making room for new members ... :D :D
Yes James is the owner... you may see him when he gets
time...he's very busy...(running a resort complex in the ski
hills in Bulgaria.)
Hope he can pop on here...he has a good insight into the word.

That's good. (And a relief) I would hate to think anyone
bailed out, let alone 16 people, when they saw my name and face.

Haha! No, and you have a lovely handsome face Willie . :D
They were all, except one, "none posters" anyway.
CB can of 7, 708 membership. LOL ... Our half have joined up ,
but never posted... we see each week someone sign on, and we
never see them again!! It's a vert transit site even with those
who do post.
People like APAX and others that I really liked, ( like and
agreeing with are two different things) . Dave L was the nicest
Calvinist I have ever met.
Yet he came, dropped his load, and left.
So as far as I can see , only one of the list of 16 was ever a
regular poster. I have already told him that we have 'woken-up'
again...he may or may not come.
Nah..I have always believed in quality over quantity .
Sadly churches out there are more interested in numbers and head
counting than in people ...and by just looking at Kind David, we
all know what God feels about " numbering the people" and what
it did for David. :D :D :D
