If this site gets 'going again I'm hoping that James will allow
me to have temporary 'admin' status just for the purpose of
increasing the Avatar size and for helping members to format
their preferred Avatar to suit.

And for me too, so I can confirm all your re registering each
time you leave and rejoin!! :D
(Reason being, because I am on here more than he is most days)
I just hope he can quickly get Wifi and internet once in
Bulgaria...but Jeanette has been there almost two months now and
they still don't have it. :(
She has to find some cafe which has wifi so she can write to
me once a week.

Hi Daniel,
Could avatar settings be as follows:
Maximum width of external avatar
(0 for no limit)
164
Maximum height of external avatar
(0 for no limit)
195
If the avatar is too large...Allow HTML to resize it.
That's how we had things back when I was 'assisting' members
with their avatars

You won't be able to do it unless you are given back the admin
status that you originally had.

Been there done that 164 x195 but no change to the pictures on
site. Now I wonder why that is?

No sorry , I'm afraid I am too much of a wally to risk clicking
anything. I looked and nothing seemed simple and brainless to
me...so I didn't risk it. Plus I couldn't even find the page
which shows the size of avatars . The list is too long.
Sorry, I have to chicken out. James could probably follow
those instructions okay, not me. I am too much in fear and
trembling of buttons and clicking!! :(

It doesn't change existing avatars but now that you've done 164
x 195 I've resubmitted mine and you'll see that it is now
larger.
