       Not out but in!

Because he hath set his love upon me................I will be
       with him in trouble;
I just wish that verse said he would always stop me from even
       seeing trouble.
The question does arise, how would we know how strong we were
unless our strength was tested. The lords not looking for our
weak points, he was aware of those when he formed us, he is
seeking to make us understand how strong we are in him, when he
       walks with us in trouble.
No matter arrow by day that narrowly misses our head, or
pestilence that comes in the darkness nor the destruction in the
full day. We may and will see all these calamities, but be they
ever so close nothing will touch us because we have set our love
on him who walks always with those who desire his life.

Good word...my favourite Psalm. Yes, for sure. God does nopt
allow us to be in the test so He can see how we are doing...He
knows! True. It is for us to know 'where we are' and how far we
have come. I remember a word preached almost 40 year ago called
The Long Run. Sam said that even when we feel we have come to
the end of our human strength..man still has 15% more staying
power left. He used to run miles..and when he felt that he would
just dop on the road, he knew he had 15% more to give.
I have also read that about those who climb Everest and other
challenging mountains. They have learned that when the feel like
they will die with the next step...if they pace themselves they
still can reach the next camp.
If it be so in the natural realm, how much more so in the
       SPIRIT!!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I
       will fear no evil:
This verse tells us that death is not real it is just a shadow,
now as the bible also says that man is appointed once to die, I
       was wondering when that was.
If what we think of as death is not the real thing but just the
shadow of the real thing then that for me clears up all the
questions of "what happened to all those who came out of their
graves did they die a second time, no because they were not dead
in the first place they just were not any longer around. Then
there is Lazarus and the chap Paul raised up not to mention
those Jesus raised up as well as Peter.
Well then that clears that one up the bible calls it death, but
no, real death is followed by judgement, not by being revived
for another few years go round on planet earth.

I'm running short on time right now, but I believe spiritually
life and Light are the same thing. A being cut off from God
has some Light and it can steal Light from God's children by
trickery; but without Light, it will eventually dwindle away to
nothing if it emits any Light at all. Satan can appear as an
angel of Light but prefers not to since it's a drain on him.
The only time he'll do it is if he's getting worship back -- in
other words tricking a person in giving him Light. Idolatry
       empowers the Dark Side.
Ordinarily a child of God receives Light from God in the form of
Light; and if he worships God, it returns to God upwards as the
Sacred Flames of the Heart -- if that Flame hasn't gone out.
Angels are said to be of fire in some places and of Light in
others; and the truth is they are both. They come from God as
beings of Light but return to him as Flames burning upwards.
This poses no problem for the child of God who remains connected
       to God.  If we sin, we may find our portion of Light cut back;
and this is for our own good so we don't feed the Dark Side and
then be asked to account for the waste later.
Here for now are some passages which mention both life and
       Light.
Job 3:20 Wherefore is light given to him that is in misery, and
       life unto the bitter in soul;
Job 33:28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and
his life shall see the light.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I
fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be
       afraid?
Psalm 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light
       shall we see light.
Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is
light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
       Proverbs 16:15 In the light of the king's countenance is life;
and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the
light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in
darkness, but shall have the light of life.
2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our
Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought
life and immortality to light through the gospel:
For me one of the basic verses of the Bible is in Genesis when
God says, "Let there be Light." I suppose that could be read
physically and literally; but since all Scripture is profitable
for doctrine, I read it also to mean the Divine Light. Thus
"the Word" and "the Light" are also associated.
At His Word, some of the darkness became Light and some remained
dark. Similarly when people hear the Gospel, some receive the
Word gladly and receive Light while others either do not hear or
       hear but reject the Word.
The first step towards salvation for anyone is hearing the Word
-- the Living Word of God -- and receives Light. That is my
belief. If the Sacred Fire which should be burning in his heart
has gone out, only the Living Word can light it again. You
could say the virgin left her lamp go out. The person whose
lamp has gone out may be in serious trouble when his body dies.
