Helen is back on the ward
By: James Date: July 8, 2015, 1:51 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
I am informed by Jane, Helen's youngest daughter that Helen is
done with the cut and thrust and the doctor was pleased.
We now look forward to a slow but steady growth back to good
health under Gods watchful eye and our healing prayers.
Thank you Lord for your love for us each and every one.

Thanks for letting us know James- so pleased that the op is over
and recovery now beginning - have been thinking of her today,
but did not know exactly what time she would be having the op
becasue of the time differences xxx

James, thanks for the latest news about Helen. Like Rita I have
been thinking about her all day and praying that all would go
well. Hope she makes a full recovery.

Jane has sent another email to say that Helen is in some
considerable pain and as such could do with some prayer support.

HELEN asked me to thank you all for your prayers and she said
she felt the benefit of them; they (the nursing staff) seem to
have got the pain thing under control; but she is still stressed
from the procedure and bathroom trips are not fun; they are
taking her down tomorrow for a swallow test; and I'll see her
again at 11 am; the doctor was pleased with the surgery and we
are believing for a speedy recovery; as if you don't have enough
to pray for; just remember the man in the next bed that the Lord
will make an opening to talk to him; he to is in great pain.
there's only two of us in the house and when one is not here it
just feels odd. My thanks to you all too.

Much love Dave , recovery from any ops are difficult to begin
with, I remember them well - my oldest use to be under
instruction not to make me laugh, could he do that, NO - one
time he decided it would be fun to see how many mint polo's he
could put in his mouth. The were peppermint ones- and became
very hot. It was so funny, but very painful to deal with my
reaction. Then he gets the hospital phone and pushes it from one
end of the ward to the another announcing ' look a mobile phone
!!' - He had everyone laughing, I think the pain meds went up
after his visit !!
Seriously, may the pain meds help and may helen see improvement
each hour - and may you be able to cope with the ' quiet ' house
xx
Ooops just noticed the time - have to go my bus is due in 5mins
xx

Iwould have thought that it is too early to tell much - the
surgeon must know more at this stage, after all he has done
these ops before.
My only thought is that satan would like nothing more than to
convince Helen that it has not worked.
Give Helen a Hug from me Dave - thinking of you both xx

As far as I know; which at times is not very far; Helen is
coming out at noon today; Jane is doing the pick up and taking
her to her house for a few days but it was dependant on her
check up this morning; when I see her i give her a BIG hug from
all of you; thanks again.Got to go, was eating a Donair that had
been on steriods while doing this, just realised there was a
hole in the bottom and the sauce has leaked all over pant leg.
