Thanks Pat that gave me my chuckle for the day; Rita; welcome
home; It might have worried me more to have been invited//;
Jesus said take my yoke upon you and "learn" some learning
lessons are easier than others unfortunately; but I bet my last
half-crown; they'll be watching; He was meek and lowly a friend
to those who despitefully used him. Paul puts it neatly"His
grace is--------"be praying for a double portion for you; say hi
to Dan for me.

Thanks Dave,
I would not have gone even if I had of been asked, its crazy how
something so small can have such a big impact on the inside -
there is so much more to what is going on at work, everyone is
so full of opinions of others - never based on facts, its been a
real eye opener working with so many people again- its like a
school payground there at times. Just not sure why it bothers me
so much that I was not included, more so as I would not have
gone anyway.
Right I had better get ready for work x

AS I said before it did not bother Jesus. Here we are in Mark 7
territory where Jesus says it is only those things that come out
of a man that can defile him, since they come out from the
heart. Jesus was tempted in all points like us yet without sin,
the fact that he did not react does not presume that he did not
feel it , he just did not give in to the temptation to react or
let the feeling get the better of him.
The why it hurts so much is because the devil seeks to use ever
means he can to tempt and unsettle us

I can reason out what you are saying James, but just not sure I
know how to apply it all.
I cannot help feeling the hurt- its just there- I have not
reacted in a negative way to any of my fellow workmates as a
result of what has happened.
Do I have to repent with regards to it bothering me ?
What exactly is the sin, the root, of what I am reacting to?

Because we know who's causing the hurt doesn't make it hurt any
less, but because we know who's causing it and why, we can deal
with it. We can overcome.

So this is more about focussing on satan and the trouble he is
trying to cause, more than taking it personally against those
who have caused the hurt ?

Rita one never ever has to repent because one is tempted
temptation is not sin. Sin is sin. What you have is emotions ,
feelings. It is not about concentrating on the devil it is more
about not concentrating on feeling. It might serve to adopt a
bible way and put on the garment of praise for the spirit of
heaviness.
If one looks at the words of David , he so many times is upset
by others but by the end of the psalm he has changed his
perspective, looked at the Lords grace and deliverance and come
right back up to find his true place in God.

Although I did have to chuckle to myself - well a women not
concentrating on her feelings is kind of a long shot, isn't it
!!! ;D
Change of subject- my oldest just telephoned- he is lost,
doesn't know what life is really about. He feels angry and
doesn't know why ( although much is linked to his dads recent
rejection ) He is searching, but vunerable- it is a reminder
that my family needs God - the situation at work seems quite
minor compared with the spiritual safety of my children x

will bring him to a conclusion of faith in the victory of Jesus.
