dear Jesus please give us a technically minded soul to help with
this fledgeling forum, A "Nicky" would be just wonderful to help
do the admin stuff and change the settings on things

Yes Lord...Amen to that Ivor.
I am sure the actual Nicky would give us a hand if we really
messed up things here. Brad comes to mind too but I don't
think he is as techno minded or as trained as Nicky has been.
Oh good...I just noticed that James must have found the button
to click to show the latest posts at the bottom of the main
page...well done James!
So far, so good, we haven't tipped the boat over yet. :D

I'll lend a hand if you like.
I'm techie and have run forums in the past, though not this
particular variant.
(and if it means I can go in and change your posts so that you
all appear to agree with me, so much the better :D )

I have noticed today that when I click unread posts since last
visit and get the page saying.

When I click what I underlined I got 4 more posts which did not
show up when I clicked " Show unread posts since last visit."
Just reminding everyone to not forget to click what I
underlined, just to be sure no post are missed...especially mine
of course! :D

Thanks a lot Nicky for the offer ( and HH too ) ...we may call

But I think our motto at the moment is to 'leave well alone'.
The less the buttons are checked, or messed with, the less can
