Leon nodded and moved his cubes into place above the machine. he
made sure to keep the cubes away from each other and a few
closer to Tesla cubes.

"Okay that's good, Gale, Johnson fire at will. When 3-4 non
yellow colored cubes are hit stop firing and I'll give you the
adjustment data." Abby said and took a seat in front of the
monitor. "Tesla, Newbie let the cubes sit tight and on my signal
you may begin moving them in any fashion you see fit." she
added. Gale signaled that he understood while Johnson slipped on
his goggles. The top of the OS machine slid away revealing
several tubes. "OS machine powered and activating. Firing shall
commence." Gale announced. One of the tubes began to glow before
a single laser shot from it taking out a yellow cube causing it
to fall to the ground. Afterwards several more shot out, each
striking a yellow cube. "Okay you two can begin moving the cubes
about." Abby said.

Leon nodded and moved his cubes. he kept them in random
patterns. a few sticking very close to other cubes to test the
machines accuracy.

Tesla began moving her cubes as well. The OS machine began
rapidly firing out its lasers hitting several yellow cubes but
soon hitting a white and a red one as well. "OS has struck down
two non ATF cubes." Gale announced and Abby nodded "If it hits
two more we shall stop and recalibrate." she said.

Soon several white cubes were shot down and the machine was
powered down. Abby was at her monitor frowning "Gale come help
with the recalibration, something might be interfering with the
signal." she said and began rapidly typing. Tesla set her
controller down and went to go gather up the fallen cubes "Weird
it never should shoot down this many. Must be a really off day
for it." she said.

"Well don't go saying stuff like that around Dr. Aberforth."
Tesla said and perched on the table. "He has pretty high hopes
for this thing and I wouldn't want to see him mad because the
testing isn't going well." she added. Abby sighed and stood up
"Okay it's been recalibrated but there is some type of
interference. Since it's targeting ATF energy it might be
locking onto the pilots energy signatures...I'll have to find a
way to dampen that so we can keep testing with accurate
results." she explained and tossed her goggles off.

Tesla shrugged "I wouldn't be surprised, though it's only the
test machine its purpose is to pick up ATF Energy and attack it
and with the pilots on the base it's probably picking that up as
well and throwing off the calibration. Its the only acceptable
explanation." she explained. "We might be able to dampen it so
the radar is only focused to this area." Abby said.
