to stay in the shadow of the table.

Thomas continued to search for the notes, becoming more frantic
when he couldn't find them. On a counter behind Leon sat the
missing notes, partially hidden beneath a white lab coat.

leon sighed on the inside "this guy is persistent about these
notes" he thought to himself as he looked around to make sure no
one else was approaching. his eyes caught a glimpse of what
could have been the notes hidden beneath a lab coat. Leon
quietly reaches for them and tucks them beneath his arm.

Thomas sighed, combing a hand through his hair he gave up on the
notes. "Oh Dr. Vespe is going to kill me if I return to Lab 17
without her notes..." he said, turning he quickly headed to
another lab table to look around.

Leon walked out the lab and made his way down the hall "are
there signs to get to this lab? he looked on the wall for a
directory of sorts

There were black arrows on the wall in between two doors, one
pointed down the left hall saying "Labs 1-10" while another
arrow pointed down the opposite end saying "Labs 11-20".

Leon read the arrows and nodded "to lab 14" he walked off,
keeping an eye out for stray scientist that might say something.

The scientist that walking through the halls hurried past him,
either reading documents or carrying various objects to other
labs, and paid him no attention.

seeing that no one really paid him any attention he loosened up
and continued walking til he reached the lab.

The door to the lab was shut with no sound coming from it,
beside the door was a small blue box for the scientist to swipe
their badges to unlock the door.
