Rai gave a shrug at Mitsuki, not surprised at Tomoko's actions,
although his eyes was saying something else. "Tomoko, remember
what I said earlier. Leave him alive." He said sternly as he
look at Tomoko first, and then back to Desmond, his smile
finally faded from his face as he walk closer to the older male.
"What we would like to know is your side of story concerning you
and Halle in the past, what happen between you two. The whole
truth, no joking, no lies." He said softly.

Desmond was clutching his bruised cheek and stumbled back,
nearly tripping over boxes in his haste to move away from her.
"Why in the name of Seele did you punch me? That is not how you
ask questions!" he whined and took his glasses off. He released
a weary sigh when he realized why they were here "I'm fairly
certain whatever you've heard is the truth. Met Halle, fell in
love with her, won her over, abandoned her after our child was
born dead. Not much more to the story, anything else is
unimportant..."

She didn't let the blade vanish and her glare darkened "IS that
all you can say. How could you do that, what kind of man leaves
the woman he "loves" after something like that! Tell us the

Mitsuki's expression saddened at the mans words, but she
remained next to Tomoko, hands on her shoulders to hold her back
if need be.

Rai glanced back at the girls' expressions and mentally sighed
to himself before moving his attention back at Desmond. He
doesn't really understand how love really works between two
people, but that doesn't concerned Rai right now, what was more
important is getting information... "Well, what about now then.
You did came at an odd timing. Is there any particular reason
why? I don't think I know what your job is, actually." He asks
quietly.

Desmond combed a hand through his hair "I'm a freelancer, jack
of all trades. Any and all jobs." he answered and looked at
them. "I came back because I heard about you all becoming Hal's
new team, was just a bit worried but now I see I had nothing to
worry about at all. Now any more questions or is this interview
over?"

He asks softly, crossing his arms across his chest.
