Leon blew a kiss and laughed. hearing her leave he uncovered his
eyes and continued looking for the basket. finally finding it he
stood and dusted himself off. "by the way i have a gift for you"
he said as he ventured the room to look at it.

"The throw it away, whatever inane gift you managed to think up
was just going to end up there anyways." she found her light
switch after groping around for a few moments and flipped it on.
The sparsely furnished room was suddenly bathed in light.

Leon squinted until his eyes adjusted to the light change. "well
that was kind of harsh......ya know, you can actually try and be
nice sometimes. it won't make you any less of a bad ass" he
smiled and still handed her the basket

frown "What exactly is in it...for that matter why did you even
bring me a gift?"

"If it's something stupid don't be surprised when I hit you with
it." she mumbled and removed the cloth that kept it covered.
Beneath the covering was a basket filled with bright red apples,
she stared at them in confusion. "It's a bunch of apples....a
basket full of apples." her voice took on an excited tone and a
smile lit up her face "I love apples! The stupid kitchen people
never want to share them thought! Always being stingy as though
they can't just order more apples." she rambled happily.

Leon had actually tensed up expecting to be pummeled with the
whole basket. hearing the excitement in her voice Leon relaxed
and looked at her in confusion "yeah....apples" he shook his
head and coughed "i mean yeah....apples!!. somewhere down the
road i realized you like apples and i got them for you" he lied
through his teeth but kept to his teachers instructions. "I'm a
pomegranate lover myself, Future reference if you ever wanna get
me something" he smiled.

She was nearly hugging the basket in her excitement but once she
realized what she was doing she immediately stopped and blushed
a dark red. She turned away and went to go put the basket down
"If it were anything else I'd just throw it away but food
should't be wasted, so don't think you're special because you
had a lucky guess." she said quickly.

She set the basket down on the counter ad went to the bathroom
to brush her hair. "I'm awake so you can leave my room, idiot. I
can get to the cafeteria by myself."
