he made himself a bowl of fruit salad and went over to the
counter to place his order.

Mitsuki walked into the cafeteria with a bagged lunch. With a
light sigh she quickly pocketed a piece of paper and sat along
the windowsill

She rolled her eyes "Refrain from speaking to me further before
you end up in a hospital bed." she said, picking up her bowl she
left to go take a seat at a table in the back of the room.

As Rai came over he smiled "Good afternoon...Rai was it?" he
said and nodded to himself. "The menus here have gotten better,
we had less meal choices when I was your age."

Rai nodded in confirmation to his name. "Yeah it seems so. It
nice to meet you sir." He said as he then ordered some turkey
sandwich along with a spicy hotdog, having a big appetite for
foods, especially spicy kinds. Because he was late to the class
earlier, he didn't actually hear Desmond's introduction, thus
not knowing his name.

Leon sighed and dropped his head as she walked away "i guess i'm
just destined to be hurt....be it here.....or out there" he took
a deep breath and walked over to wear she was sitting "you
know......you're making me do an awful lot to get to know you
some more......i'm supposed to be lazy and care free remember?"
Leon smiled and laughed again. he took a seat on the opposite
side of the table and looked at her "uhmmmm.......so what kind
of salad did you make? i made a chicken salad with bacon, cherry
tomatoes, garlic croutons , and a little shredded Mozzarella
cheese.......aaaaaand i forgot a drink, do you have a favorite?"
he attempts to make small talk, still smiling.

Mitsuki settled herself on the sill, curling her legs up under
her. Her eyes darted over the cafeteria every so often as she
ate.

"Desmond, in case you missed my wondrous entrance!" he said and
leaned back against the counter. He noticed Mitsuki sitting at
the window and looked over to see Leon unsuccessfully try to
have a conversation at the table while Tomoko looked ready to
hurt him. "Hmm we might have to intervene with those two soon
and maybe convince your friend by the window to join us over
there for lunch." he said and straightened up when he heard the
ding signaling his food was ready. "Tomato soup and a good old
fashioned ham sandwich!" he said happily and placed his food on
his tray. "I shall meet you at the table Mr. Rai!" and with that
he headed to the table and set his tray down next to Leon and
made his way over to Mitsuki.

"This is exactly why I don't ever eat here. the humans here are
bad enough but this is just ridiculous." she thought and
continued to glare at Leon. "It is a salad, cherry tomatoes,
carrots and cucumbers. I have answered your question will you
leave me to eat." she said, her hand gripping the fork she was
prepared to stab him with.

Rai watched him go and thinks about his situation for a bit.
'Getting along is something I can do.' Rai grabbed his foods
and went over to the table and sat down next to Tomoko"You can
stab him later. Foods come first before violence and questions."
He said softly with a grin, not afraid that Tomoko would hurt
Leon.
