Mid-morning Teaching (Classroom, morning, open)

"Looks like I have some new kids, ATF and Humans..." a woman
mumbled from the front of the room. Her purple hair fell over
shoulder as she looked over her class roster, along with a
second sheet of parchment that had the word Seele stamped onto
the front "Along with a new unit team. Well this shouldn't be
too bad." she set the sheets down on the desk and turned to the
chalk board and scrawled her name in large letters. The
classroom was the second largest on Seele base with a mix of
Humans and the ATF unit pilots under her command. Along with
being a teacher Halle is also a Unit Commander and considers
herself guardian of the ATF Humans under her command. She set
her chalk down and took a seat on top of the desk to await her
students to start pouring in.

Leon walked into the classroom whistling to himself, he smiles
to the teacher and gives a little wave before taking a seat near
the back of the class. he props his feet up on the desk and
relaxes still whistling his tune.

"Ah Mr.Leon this is not your bedroom so try not to treat it as
such. Feet off the desk, we'll be having new students that have
just arrived to the base and it wouldn't do to make a bad
impression." Halle chided but had an amused smile on her face.

Tomoko walked in, not saying a word to anyone as she made her
way to a seat in the back and nearest to the window. She set her
books down and her red eyes turned to gaze out the window at the
stars.

Leon waved his hands in defeat but still bore a smile on his
face "I know Teach I know, but i have to do the usual routine or
else you'd never notice me" he laughed and removed his feet from
the desk and stopped whistling "If i heard you correctly i think
you said something about new students?"

"Good morning Miss Tomoko." she said, knowing the girl wouldn't
reply she turned her attention back to Leon. "It is quite hard
not to take notice of you Mr. Leon. You tend to be one of my
more cheery morning students, and yes I have a few announcements
but we have some new Human and ATF students joining us from the
United base." she explained. As she spoke a group of students
came in, immediately taking their seats on the other side of the
room away from the two, shooting them dark looks as they did.

"Can't wait to meet them then" Leon smiled and leaned on his
hand. as the students came in he watched them still smiling,
even after they gave the dirty looks " on the other hand maybe i
could have waited a little longer" he stood and moved to a seat
next to tomoko.

Hearing the rustle of cloth come closer she turned and saw Leon
near her desk, eyes narrowed she noticed the other students in
the room and resumed looking out the window. Her hand clenched
slightly in her lap the only sign her disliking the students
across the room.

Internally Halle sighed, mornings were always like this her ATF
students taking to one side of the room while non ATF claimed
the other side. Not sure how to ever get them to mingle she
simply gave up and tried to keep the animosity to a minimum.
"Were you to come late I'd have to send someone to find you, and
no one enjoys having to hunt you down when you decide to play
hide and seek."

"but i thought they liked our games of hide and seek........" he
said sarcastically in a mocking sad voice. he looked at Tomoko
"what do you think?" he said to her "did you enjoy my game of
hide and seek?"
