Just ebayed one of the best portable AM DX receivers you can
buy. The GE Super Radio and the Super Radio II. The Super radio
was designed for apartment dwellers and office workers. It has a
longer and larger ferrite rod antenna for better reception. It
also has improved circuitry not found in cheap portables. This
is why a radio from the late 70S demands $75 and up today. AM
reception is just as important now as it was back in the civil
       Defense days.

Truck stop for the antenna. Just need to know how you want it
       mounted.
