New laptop suggestions
By: Gazalad Date: November 4, 2013, 6:55 am

Since I've had a craptop (crap laptop) for about 4 years now, I
was hoping to get a new laptop in Jan and i need suggestions on
what kind of laptop I should get.
I was wondering if anyone could help?
I am also hoping to build my own desktop in Jan, which will
probably become my primary computer for playing Gmod after it's
built.
So any suggestions would greatly help, I'm hoping to get
something that can run DirectX 11 games relatively smoothly on
medium settings.
;D

What you can do is:
Find you local eletronic store and ask them what type of pc you
are looking for.
Or you can go on the internet and find a store where you can
order a complete pc whitch where you can pick the stuff you want
in it, then they place the stuff you ordered

Buy my laptop.
It's totally pro:
1.6GHz Single-Core Pentium 770 M
1GB DDR RAM
64MB VRAM (ATI Graphics)
80GB Hard-Drive
54MB/s WiFi Adapter
Missing a CD drive, front panel comes lose, charger has a
tendency to overheat, can only run XP. Use Firefox, Google
Chrome breaks it.

It depends on what your prize limit is! Mine is about 700 Euro
(something like 900 Dollars i think), so um gonna buy myself a
PC instead of a laptop, cause you get like 3x more power for the
same price.
Im gonna buy myself a PC with this specs:
6x 3,5 ghz
1000gb Hard Drive
Nvidia gtx 650 ( i think) with 2gb GDDR5
and the best wifi adapter (idk how much)

Felicity's pc is OP.
I got 2 laptops.
The cheapest one is a HP Pavilion dv6 7010eo - I paid about 900
dollars for it.
Specs:
Intel Core i5-2450M 2.5 GHz - 2 cores
15,6" screen - 1366x768 resolution
500 gb HDD
4GB Ram (I've added 4 more) so 8GB.
Nvidia Geforce 630M 1GB DDR3 VRAM.
Beats audio speakers
I bought it about 9 months ago. You can easily get something
better and cheaper.
But if I were you, I would go for the desktop instead, 100 times
cooler :D

Thing is,
I do prefer laptops over desktop due to the portability issue,
but i think i'll just buy a desktop and stick with my Dell
inspiron 1545 for another year or so :P
Oh, and How much are you asking for it Felicity? ;D
