Heavy ddos attack on my network

I couldnt be online for 1 day because of a ddos attack that was
originally lasting 2 weeks. Im currently in danger but by doing
research i got the ddosrs steam id and steam name. I was able to
stop it by compleetly resetting my router. If i disconnect
randomly im getting ddosed

The odds of someone is DDOS'ing your home network is pretty low
compared to the odds of your network provider is messing with
the network ;)
It's not unusual to have network problems due to your provider,
though its very rare, that someone would DDOS your home network.
(Unless you've done something stupid)

this was most obviously ddos, A guy was speedhacking and
aimbotting in the server, we busted him hard. He was a
terrorist, and his terrorist boss was behind him. they were
shooting at me, when out of nowhere he spins 180 degrees facing
the terrorist boss, killing him and spinning back to me. I told
the mod that was on, i believe accel but not sure to ban him,
than he said in OOC, go on and ban me i dont care ill just ddos
spicy
i said bet u cant? than he said my ip in OOC, than he gets
banned and literally 5 seconds after all of my internet crashed,
gmod disconnected, ipad had no internet, no laptop had internet.
I tried resetting the router which didnt do it. than we had to
call customer service and he detected a large attack and helped
us out. Because of him im now going on the server d-;

I bet he is always saying : im ddos people beacuse i can.
But its good that your online again.
I hope that guy get banned off steam
