Re: RE3MV: A tool to edit PLD files...

I guess that explains why Ada is so messed up looking in RE2MV.
How about animation support for EMD Viewer (RE1?). I would love
to get some of the hunters from RE1 working in my engine.
Eventually a fan made recreation of RE1 is in order since it's
so difficult to get it running on these modern PC's. We can then
combine animations from RE2 onto RE1, such as the caution and
danger idle/walk/run, etc among a few other cool things.

If you remember I've tried in past to create a plug-in for
3dsmax that could import animations from EMD Viewer but I
couldn't solve some problems and eventually I had to put it
aside, but now after I've made RE2MVAS I think it shouldn't be
too difficult to make same for EMD Viewer. Right after RE2MVAS
I was thinking about RE1 but couldn't find motivation/interest
but now I think I'm interesting :)
Now I'm not promising anything but I'll try to update EMD Viewer
soon ;)

I look forward to that then. :)

Hello! First of all, thanks a lot for this tool. I don't know
much about modding but thanks to this, I could find a starting
point. :D I wish to change an enemy (the snakes) and I figured
this tool would be useful but I think I need to edit the .md1
files? My question is, will there be an update for this tool
that supports those files like RE2MV tool or is there an another
way for me to edit them?
Or can I replace the snake's EMD file with another enemy's, say
crows, without breaking the game, so that crows will appear
instead of snakes? Thank you. ;D

Apparently Rod Lima cracked the RE3 animations. He cites this
page as the source of info for him learning how to do it and
wrote a plugin for Blender.

hello Leo :)
Is it possible to add bones in this tool? would be great to play
around with re3 models.

Leo, I want to rewrite a part of your tool to TypeScript, WebGL
and Node.js. It will be available in any operation system, not
only Windows. The part that will upload an original format to
the Node.js server and export it to OBJ format. I have your
source code. You sent me "RE123_Tools_Sources.zip" a few years
ago. I think it will not be difficult to read Delphi because I
know C# and TypeScript. These languages are very similar because
an author of Delphi, Turbo Pascal, C#, and TypeScript is one
person Anders Hejlsberg

It is sad that this tool cannot export animations. I will
rewrite RE1MV to web because original animations are very
important.

Do you have a copy of this document? The website does not work.

The link to Rod Lima's too is broken. How can I extract original
animations from RE3?
