RE3SLDE: A tool to edit SLD files...

-RE3SLDE v0.8b-
About:
It's an editor for RE3[PC] SLD files those files contains
compressed masks in PSX TIM format. This tool can Export an mask
within SLD to TIM, BMP, SLD and replace from TIM file. After
editing an SLD the game exe(ResidentEvil3.exe) itself must be
patched otherwise mask will look buggy or the game will simply
crash to avoid that use "Tools->Select EXE" option to specify
game exe after that every time you save an SLD specified exe
will be patched automatically. I have tried this tool only with
several SLD from Stage1 and it seems that it work.
Note:
The v0.8b support all stages(1~7) and support only those
versions of the game (UK, USA, Xplosiv)...

Note: Before start downloading from datafilehost uncheck the
checkbox that I'm showing down below also JavaScript must be

Very great tool!
I'm testing with RE3English.exe version and it works properly.
I edit with simple modification on cam_00 of RDT100 [saveroom].
I 'paint' this layer with green color table and save.
This is the result:

Now I waiting other stages and sure the RE3Spanish.exe version
to edit our Rebecca's Escape project.

I'll try to update the tool as soon as possible, right now I'm
working on GT Track Viewer and I think I'm not very far from the
first release at least I hope so, anyway after that I'll
probably will work on RE3SLDE again but I can't promise
anything, we'll see.

I decided to work again on this tool since I'm done with the
other tools for now, anyway I need RE3 saves from all stages I
would play the whole game to make those saves by my self but for
some reason game crash somewhere in RPD probably because I run
the game from extracted ROFS##.DAT so I would appreciate if
someone could upload those saves at least from stage2.

Leo on tuesday I'm gonna play it for you ;) So which Region do
u need? I guess NTSC-U. maybe PAL to? And hell yeah PC or PS1
Version? Or both?

Thanks Dominic but just now I played game from ROFS##.DAT
instead of extracting them and the game didn't crash so now I
have save from STAGE 2 which is enough to start working on
supporting that stage, but still I'll probably will need saves
from other stages soon, Now I can get saves from other stages
(3, 4, 5, 6, 7) by my own since the game working that way but if
you have some free time spend to get those saves go ahead that
would help me I would spend spend saved time on tool rather
playing game. I need saves for standard PC PAL version English
:)
Edit1: Just have add support for STAGE 2 English version for
now have test it with several rooms and it seems that it work. I
guess now I'll work on STAGE 3 support. By the way it seems that
I'll have to add support only for STAGES 1~5 cause it seems that
the regular game use only those stages, and STAGES 6~7 used for
mercenary mode I guess!?
Have applied sepia effect on BG and Mask.

Edit2: Have add support for STAGE 3 too, need more tests to be
completely sure if it's will with all rooms in that stage
though.
