I just thought of this idea:
What if the E4 weren't just random trainers but the region
leaders?
Champion: The King/Queen
E4: Ministers
GymLeaders: Mayors/Counts/whatever

part 4 (One more post, I won't PC++ here, sorry, I was
inexperienced back then)
You wake up in your own bed (luxuria suburbs), with your mom
giving you a rant (just like irl, lol) about how dangerous it
had been, and how though that gym is. You get told to go to the
bycicly fixer in Prowesce City, where your bike was left. Que
route 1, one of those generic routes, which everybody loves
and/or hates, you will find some mons here, but as you do not
have any balls, you can't catch them. once you get to the bike
shop in the city, you will meet a strange figure. He will be
talking to himself, and will ask you some questions. Then he
battles you to test his theory, as he will tunr out to be
pokemon professor, and will give you your first balls, while
asking to set out to ask for permission for a pokedex.
You, ofcourse, do as asked, and go back to Luxuria. But on route
one you will find someone running away from danger, followed by
a shaded Pokemon. You will continue as if nothing happened,
until you reach Luxuria, where you'll be interviewed, as you are
the only person to describe the creature. You can choose: Is it
Red, Yellow or blue?

Part 1
You start with the normal proceedures of many Pokemon games, the
professor starts about such and names. He asks you your name,
and then asks a boy or a girl (lol). He then asks who a person
is (a boy if you chose girl a girl if you chose boy) and you
lastly enter "the world of Pokemon". You start waking up in your
bed, and being woken up by your Mom saying the professor was
asking for you. Downstairs, Mom continues on about why the
professor wants you "Good(time of day) (name)! Professor (name)
wants to see you at his lab. He said something about 'teaching
you to defend yourself', but I dont know why or how an old
Professor would teach you to protect yourself".
You then are able to walk over to the lab and enter. The
professor greets you and starts talking about how hes known you
since you were small and he sees your potential. He talks about
Pokemon and how you deserve to have one for your safety. You
choose one starter and you can start walking until the professor
suddenly stops you and says to deliver a package to the
Pokecenter in the neighboring town (IDK atm what names they are
:/)
You walk down Route 1, unable to catch any pokemon and only able
to battle. When you get to the town, they ask for the package
and you give it to them, as well as the clerk saying to give a
package to him as well. You return to the professor to give him
a package and he starts talking about how the Pokeball inside
the package reminds him when he used to be a succesful Trainer,
alongside Pikachu. He says hes reminded to show you how to catch
Pokemon. He walks outside to Route 1 and finds a wild Thefcoon
and catches it. He gives it to you as well as giving you his
remaining 4 pokeballs and says find a weakened wild Pokemon and
catch it (not paraphrasing word for word).
You get to the next tow to find the gym leader has finally
returned to the town, and before you enter though, your rival
comes to you and says " Hey (Name)! I saw how you got that
Pokemon from the Professor!
