Ferrumsect, Alphasect and Ferroshell [WIP]

Ferrumsect [WIP]
Steel/Bug
Hardened Steel Pokemon
Dex Entry: Even though FERRUMSECTs are made of steel, but they
can't seem to resist fire and extreme heats. They apparantly
made their cocoons out of molten magma before they adapted to
having steel shells in their cocoon stage long ago.
Abilities: Swarm/Sturdy/DW Heatproof

Alphabug (first mon in line ; evolves into Ferroshell at Level

Dex Entry: This Pokemon has a habit of eating all it can before
going into its next stage of life: its cocoon stage. It uses all
the minerals it consumes into its metamorphasis.
Abilities: Swarm/DW Gluttony

Dex Entry: It is still a bug, just different due to covering
itself in special liquid metal once it gets enough minerals in
its first stage of life. I can barely move, but is very hardy
when it comes to survival. It still isnt done growing, so it is
still very hungry.
Abilities: Heatproof/DW Gluttony

Name is kinda just Ferrothorn + Genesect and it's a bit
fanboyish with Flash Fire imo, can't say more yet cuz no
movepool and such

Can't say much since no movepool but by it's stats distribution
and DW ability it looks like a competitive made pokemon also
flash fire is basically the opposite of it's Dex description:
Even though FERROSECTs are made of steel, but they can't seem to
resist fire and extreme heats, giving him a ability that grants
immunity to it's only weakness and going completely againist the
dex entry :/.

Okay okay Ill change Flash Fire to something more like
Heatproof, and damn no it is not "fanboyish"; I thought that
Ferro meant the element Iron and that sect is the suffix for
trying to make something a bug :| you dont have to use words
like that unless its really horrible, I took a while on this...
@Snaq its not fanboyish at all since it is just a bug that
starts out as a regular bug, cocoons with a metal cocoon and
comes out as a bug but infused with the compounds of the metal.
If it was "fanboyish", it would get abilities like Iron Barbs or
Download, or even Anticipation. Plus I imagined the design way
different than both Thorny and Genesect, so you cant assume its
"fanboyish" just because I made a name that doesnt connect right
to you. If I used Ferrogen and used something similar to their
dex entries/description, then that will be a bit too fanboyish,
for me as well.

Well, the thing had what was already one of the best typings and
then had an ability added onto it that makes it have no
weaknesses. I believe that that is what Snaquaza is referring to
when he says it is fanboyish. It doesn't matter that there's an
excuse for it to have that ability, it still comes across as,
well, an excuse for it to have a fanboyish ability. Like if I
made a Dark/Poison mon and gave it Levitate and responded to
complaints that it seemed artificial with "Ah, but it floats.
Integral part of the design, that. STOP MESSING WITH MY ARTISTIC
VISION!"
...*Ahem* And Bug/Steel w/ Flash Fire is better than
Floatydarksmog, so yeah.
Plus Bug/Steel is so overused. We've had 6 of them in 5
generations. We're ahead of the quota.
Edit: The point I was trying to make is this; Bug/Steel with a
Fire immunity looks really artificial. It doesn't look like an
actual Pokemon, it looks like someone has gone, "I should make a
Bug/Steel with a Fire immunity. That has NO WEAK."

Yes I got that, but please refer to the Original Post as it has
gottem some changes to both stats and the abilities. Besides its
a W.I.P. so I need this type of response for my mon ;)

you're a bit of there cofag,
Ferrum means Iron, or sword for that matter.
Ferro means I bring/ I carry/ I withstand, or for the Iron/ for
the sword/ Through the iron/ through the sword.

Umm, ferrum still obviously has the same root as ferro plus it
still runs into the problem of sounding like a cross between
Genesect and Ferrothorn (plus it's a Bug/Steel whose name is
basically "Steel Bug".)
Also, it goes Bug, Steel, Bug/Steel?
Edit: What kind of insect is it meant to be, anyway? Cocoon
stage makes me think moth/butterfly but, well, butterflies can
fly. If we know what kind of bug it is then it's easier to come
up with a less generic sounding name. Speaking of which, how
about Ferrapace (ferrous + carapace) for stage two?

Hmmm I was thinking the first one was just a beetle and it
covers itself in metal silk IT ONLY PRODUCES WHEN READY TO COVER
ITSELF; as soon as having enough nutrients in its body; to clear
up why it isnt a catapillar making a cocoon. It is then just a
cocoon until it comes out of the "cocoon", then it will be more
of a bee-shaped-body bug but not specifically a bee.
