Please give some explenation what everything does
Anyways, this team is very weak to rain, especially Hydro Pump +
Blizzard, for that I advise to advise Magnezone with
Tentacruel
@Black Sludge
Trait: Liquid Ooze
Nature: Calm
EV's: 252 SPD / 252 SPA / 4 HP
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Hydro Pump / Blizzard
- Giga Drain
This set helps the defensive nature of your team by Spinning
away troublesome hazards, as well as setting up his own Toxic
Spikes for more hazard shenanigans. Hydro Pump can be used for
STAB, but as your team is naturally good against Fire
(offensively), Rock types, you can also use Blizzard to defeat
Dragons, although you might get a bit weaker to Steel Types then
it normally would be, but Heatran can take care of the most.
Giga Drain is used to easily beat Water Types. Now about its
defensive typing. This Pokemon eliminates your BIG water + ice
coverage problem, by resisting both and having massive Special
Bulk with these EV's and Nature. It gives you a special wall to
help Hippowdon and Skarmory walling things, which helps as
Amoonguss is more a pivot than a strong special wall. This
typing helps you obtain resists to Water / Fighting / Fire / Bug
/ Steel / Poison / Ice, which are quite a lot, Fire helps
Skarmory, Water and Ice weaknesses are covered and you have an
always useful check to Scizor besides Skarmory and at last it
gives you a check to Tornadus (especially with Blizzard) as all
of your other mons are beaten by it. It should replace Magnezone
as Magnezone doesn't seem to be fitted on this team because of
its niche to trap Steel Types, but more because it has Zap
Cannon, which is a good move, but for a more defensive team
Toxic is better. You don't seem to have all too big problems
with Steel types as long as you have Heatran alive, which can
beat most, which brings better options to your team.
Secondary, as this team is defensive and uses a ton of hazards,
you might want a spinblocker, I think it might be neat to use
Sableye, I advise to replace Tyranitar, as you already have a
sand setter
Sableye
@Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
Nature: Calm
EV's: 252 HP / 4 DEF / 252 SPD
- Recover
- Taunt
- Will-o-Wisp
- Seismic Toss / Night Shade
This set is rather simple and can help your stally team, the
biggest attraction of it is the fact that Physical Sweepers can
almost impossible start sweeping when Sableye is still alive,
that probably calls teh question, how? Well it is in its
ability, as Sableye isn't fast or anything, but Prankster gives
it a +1 Priority WoW, which halves the power of any Physical
sweeper, after which almost all Physical Pokemon have a hard
time beating it, especially without Crits, Defense Drops or
Attack Boosts, as it can just Recover all damage of, which makes
it an incredible Pokemon for No Haxmons stall. Taunt is
preventing set up, recovery, phasing, hazard setting and all
other kinds of Status moves which is cool as you can stop lots
of defensive mons, especially Skarmory which is easily worn down
by this but is troublesome to remove for this team. As well as
protecting against virtually all Defensive Pokemon. Now qua
typing, it brings you an immunity to normal to absorb Rapid
Spin, which would otherwise spin away all of your hazards, of
which you have much. An immunity to fighting is always handy and
allows it to check Gengar's with WoW, Taunt and Recover and
especially Choice Locked fighting moves. It even has an immunity
to Psychic which is always good although Psychic moves are
lesser used. It's resist is Poison, which isn't good at all as
Poison moves are almost unused, but luckily it has NO weaknesses
to make up for it, which makes it harder to kill tahn you would
expect. Now why Tyranitar should be replaced, although Tyranitar
is a good Pokemon that gets several buffs in No Haxmons, I'd
replace it as it is best on offensive teams, but on this team
you got an offensive and slow pokemon that doesn't do much for
the rest of your team and you already have a sand setter and it
can be removed WAY easier than Hippowdon.
Last major change I would make is replacing Amoonguss with
Shaymin Sky, it is just better, way more speed, way more power,
bit less bulk
Shaymin Sky
@(Whatever item you want)
Trait: Serene Grace
Nature: Modest
EV's: 4 HP / 252 SPA / 252 SPE
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Air Slash
- GrassWhistle
This is very simple, ShayminS hits harder, is faster and only a
bit less bulky. This should work out way better and gives you a
strong Pokemon which eliminates the last standing Pokemon from
to opposite team.
Roar might be a good idea on Heatran instead of Toxic as you got
Toxic Spikes and because of your hazards you can still wear
things down
