Note from Elijah Friesen, (me), the series creator:
An upcoming prehistoric extinction TV show called "'Lesser or
Greater Extinctions" I'm making, which is a 39-part mini series
about prehistoric extinctions expect episode 39 is a possible
future extinction, "Supervolcanoes Today." I'm the creator of
the series and will be interviewing scientists about the series
and try to use CGI but were not at that point quite yet. Infact
99.9 % of all species are now extinct. This series for the first
38 episodes will show you 39 catastrophes (episode 10 has 2
extinctions) that have changed our planet for the past 542
million years disasters wiped out many species like the
Microaptor, Gompotheruim, Scutosaurus, and billions of other
species became extinct from these disasters. From the worst
extinction ever, the Permian-Triassic, the Middle and Late
Miocene, Early and Late Jurassic, and tons of others have change
the history forever. Infact if these disasters have never have
happened we may not be here today. Trust me as the series
creator, I would had put in every event that ever happend, but
it would be to much not for me bascilly, but for others, and
most of them you had probably never had herd of. Well enjoy, a
week before it comes out, (will a LONG TIME unfortunately, from
now, wish 100 % it was out on TV today), we will announce it.
Enjoy what we have for you now, :
**************We are very very happy to announce that...:
We have gotten our narrator, for the British region, his name is
Sam Wood. We are very pleased to have him on our team with us,
lets give him an around of a plause!!!! We are all very proud of
Sam to join our team, keep looking for more stuff here
soon!**********

List of Interviews:
1. Bruce McFadden, 3/19/14 10:30 a.m. : The interview was great,
the scientists name is Bruce McFadden and he talked about the
Columbian Mammoth, Ancient Bison, Dire Wolf, and some possible
causes for the extinction (sadly, not including the Clovis
Comet). /

age that both events will change the Earth forever (see more @:

Conodont species were wiped out, during the Middle Silurian (see

wipes out 40 % of species, and gave birth to the Carboniferous
(see more @: Very Late Devonian Extinction)
10. 305 Million years ago the Skagerrak-Centered Large Igneous
Province killed the Carboniferous, and then 270 million years
ago, a 5.5 diameter space rock hits ending the Early Permian
(See more @: Carboniferous rainforest collapse and Olson's
Extinction)
11. 260 Million years ago the Emeishan Traps erupted, killing
some Permian animal species (see more @: Capitanian Mass
Extinction)

Traps erupt and cause the world’s worst extinction ever
(see more @: Permian–Triassic extinction event)
13. 230 Million years ago the Wrangellia Flood Basalts erupt
killing some species in the Early Triassic Era (see more @:
Carnian Pluvial Event)

(Manicouagan crater), ended the Middle Triassic (see more @:
Middle Triassic Extinction)

(C.A.M.P.), eruptions cause 75 % of all species to die (see more
@: Triassic–Jurassic extinction event)
16. 183 Million years ago it was the Early Jurassic period and a
massive flood basalt eruption known as the Karoo-Ferrar
cause’s acid rain, climate change, and more (see more @:
Toarcian turnover)

& the Tamu Massif sea volcano erupts killing many Stegosaur and
Sauropod species (see more @: End-Jurassic Extinction)
18. 133 Million years ago, a huge volcanic province, (Paraná and
Etendeka traps) caused a massive extinction (see more @: Early
Cretaceous Extinction Event)
19. 125 Million Years Ago a massive Volcano, in China erupts,
causing volcanic ash, acid rain, and global climate change to
cause the world into extinction (see more @: Aptian extinction)
20. 120 Million Years ago, The High Arctic Large Igneous
Province (HALIP), which was a major Late Cretaceous large
igneous province, wiped out many species on the planet (see more
@: Centered Cretaceous Extinction)
21. 91.5 Million years ago, massive Volcanic Eruptions in the
oceans kill lots of species and the Ichthyosaurs dissapper with
it (see more @: Cenomanian-Turonian boundary event)
22. 75 Million years ago, the largest Volcanic Explosion in the
history of the Mesozoic Era, triggered a global sorrow (see more

world’s giant megafauna mammal species, and the Clovis
people (see more @: Very-End Pleistocene Extinction)
39. Could the Toba and Yellowstone Supervolcanoes erupt at the
exact same time and cause a modern mass or minor extinction?
Humans and the 2 million other species alive today will struggle
to survive (see more @: Holocene extinction)
It seems like the more you think about prehistoric extinction,
the more it seems we are in the middle in one of our selves. Why
make a 33-part mini series of prehistoric extinction? Because it
will have events never before seen on TV such as the Oligocene
Extinction, 26 million years ago. Well I hope you're not to
excited this could take 2-5 years to make. Well more info will
come soon!
The story of making of this series:
Back 4 years ago a show called "Animal Armageddon" aired on
Animal Planet, which only includes the big "5" extinctions and
the Toba Supervolcano of 74,000 years ago. So because of that
and my 6-8 year dream I wanted to make my own extinction series,
but I kept forgetting about it and other stuff I had to do. So
then one day I kept thinking, make the extinction show now
please, so I did. That's the story.
