       The physics???
       Well its a lot more plausible than many other science fiction
       stories physics :/
       Although the Mass Effect Relays weren't exactly....well....the
       physics for them sucked. But beyond that its simple: take
       magnetic rail coils, lighten the mass of an object (like a metal
       slug) and fire it at hypersonic speeds. Making something about
       the size of pencil graphite to puncture steel. o.o
