anyone besides me been doing this (forever)?

ok, so i finally unlocked world crown in super mario 3d world (i
think it was late last year, dont remember). but i cant even
beat any of the levels. i thought the mystery house was just
something simple, but made to look really hard. i quickly
discovered i was wrong though; and fast, lol. like, ive been
trying to beat these levels for 3-4 months (maybe more, but at
least that), and the only thing i've made any progress on was
the mystery house (got half the stars, but i cant even finish
rooms 4-6 without either dying/ clock expiration. my older
sister is good at mario games, but she doesnt have time to play
very much at all. so thats why i never ask.
the farthest i got on level crown-crown was the pipe maze at the
end. and guess what? i fuckin died! i was really, really mad
when that happened; like, i just sat there and screamed until i
got it all out. that was only time i got that far, cuz there
arent any checkpoints (which i could really use here, wtf
nintendo).
i dont think i need to explain anything about the captain toad
level; im not getting anywhere with that, either. im literally
not making any progress here. i did finish every world/level
with every character though, except world crown. thats all i
have left. but if you've tried it, im guessing you know how hard
it is. i literally feel like world crown is just impossible, cuz
im not getting anywhere at all. anyone else been trying to do
this?
