question about splatoon...not sure anyone here has played

ok, i know splatoon has multiplayer, but i hate using wifi
connection for that cuz too many fuckin people cheat/hack. i
stopped using wifi on games because of that. it was only making
me mad (nearly every time, to the peak of my fury, which is
bad), so i listened to mother's advice ever since and quit
playing on wifi. forever. the only time i use that to play with
people is if its someone i know, not random people trolling,
cheating. etc. i quit doing that a while ago. cuz i learned it
only gives me a bad time. and if you cant enjoy it, why do it?
you know? so, moving on here... i dont have anybody near me to
play locally with, so does splatoon have a single player? i
really, really dont wanna use wifi....in my opinion, thats no
different than asking for trouble.
so, if anyone knows, that would be great.

Yes, it has single player but it's quite short. The game really
is a multiplayer one.

oh good. thanks for telling me. i might play it with my sister's
son then once i get it. i bet he'd love it (of course, if she'll
let him). she wont let him play anything with violence in it
(even something minor like pokemon, wtf sis). she's been that
way with him his whole life, but what the hell? i mean, for
god's sake, the kid is 8 now! i mean, come on already.... i just
dont get it....
