Agree with Lehti! It's good to have a few new maps to keep
things interesting, but I think we need to keep the popular maps
in rotation to make sure the server stays busy! i.e. parth,
pyramid, frost, dust2, inferno, nuke, season, etc...

At the moment the map list is a bit of a mess with lots of
rubbish maps at the beginning and poor versions of good maps
included. If good maps are used the server is going to have a
lot more players like the german classics server. A new list of
the best classics maps used each evening, with a time like 5pm
or 6pm for 2 or 3 new maps to be tried out. Dust2 is used far
too often and is a bit boring as there are servers that play
nothing but dust2, it has limited options and has been played a
lot by everyone who has ever played cs. So perhaps:
1) a good list of 20 to 30 regularly used popular maps with the
crap removed
2) Only have the best versions of each map included and remove
older ones
3) a list of cool new maps people might want to try
So that during the vote process people can either pick classic
or new would simplify things a lot?
Hopefully helpful suggestions?
