This is a guide to graphics, or basically all artsy things that
you see. Tell me if I missed anything, or if I need to add
anything :)

Doing Borders on GIMP
This is for something when your finished making the graphic.
First, click
LAYERS->NEW LAYER->OK
Once you've done that you click
SELECT->SELECT ALL
There should be a white and black dotted border moving around
the picture. Make sure that the Foreground (FG) is black! Go to
EDIT->STROKE SLECTION
The size should be around 18px.
Click OK.
Change the FG color to white. Then again, go to
EDIT->STROKE SELECTION
This time, make the size around 13px.
Click OK.
Change the FG color to black again. Then again, go to
EDIT->STROKE SELECTION
The size should now be 9px.
Click OK.
You should now have a black and white border, but wait! You're
still not done. Go to
WINDOWS->LAYERS, CHANNELS, PATHS, UNDO - BRUSHES...
Go to the far left option. It should have 3 white squares on top
of each other. This is called LAYER. Go to
MODE->Click onto it and change the mode to OVERLAY. There you
go. You made a border :)

◊Lightpath
[spoiler]How to make a Lightpath
Ok, open up your image.
LAYER->NEW LAYER->OK
Go to the PATHS TOOL. It's the one that's two above the A or
text. Start to make a path going around the object you want it
to go around. You can bend the path by clicking and dragging the
little square things. Once you're finished with that, go to
EDIT->STROKE PATH
You can decide how big you want it to be. It should come out as
a line. If you have any imperfections or anything that you don't
like, you can go to the eraser and then erase the parts you
don't like. Go to
FILTERS->ALPHA TO LOGO->NEON
Choose the color you want the lightpath to be (the color closest
to the bottom) and press okay. Your screen should come out the
color that was on the top. Go to
LAYER->DELETE LAYER
And then WALA! You have a lightpath :)

◊Bokeh
[spoiler]How to make a Bokeh
Before we start these tutorials, you have to know what a bokeh
is. Bokeh's are little shapes of light or color that's been
smudge in the background. Bokeh's are usually little circles.

Open up your image.
Go to
LAYER->NEW LAYER->OK
Go to ECLIPSE SELECT TOOL. It is in the top left corner. It is
the little oval/circle one. Click on it and go down to the two
squares that are both red. Click on it and start to make
circles. Once your done making circles/ovals, go to AIRBRUSH.
Select a color. Preferably make it a lighter color of the
background, but if the background's black then you can make it
any color. Click on OPACITY and bring it down to around 35
opacity. Start to color in the circles using the airbrush. Once
your done, this is just something extra. You can go to the
FINGER/SMUDGE and start to smudge the colors so it looks more
realistic. Last step, if you like your bokeh the way it is then
you don't have to do this step. Go to WINDOWS->LAYERS, CHANNELS,
PATHS, UNDO - BRUSHES->LAYER->MODE->OVERLAY
And then wala! You have a bokeh!

◊Downloading Fonts
[spoiler]How to Download Fonts
First! You MUST go to www.dafont.com That's where you get fonts.
I don't know about you, but I have a Mac. So, find the fonts you
want and click on download. This might happen if you have a mac.
ONE: The font names will show up on the bottom of the page. If
this happens, click them and it will unarchive them. But do this
once you have ALL the fonts that you want. EITHER WAY, go to
DOWNLOADS in FINDER. Find the fonts that you just downloading
and highlight them/copy them.
Open up GIMP and go to the HELP, that's on the top of you
computer. Where it says X11. Now SEARCH up THE FONTS. A bunch of
options should come up, click on THE FONTS FOLDER. Now, it
should take you to a window. Click on OPEN FONT BOOK. Now there
should be a window that shows you all of the fonts that you have
so far.
