he positoned himself for the rabbit to

Smear didn't listen. Because the WindClan
cat had halted, the rabbit sped in a different
direction. Smear leapt into a race after the rabbit,
which didn't continue for long. As his jaws clamped
on the moor-favoring prey, the taste of blood
engulfed his mouth. Coughing, he dropped the
half-dead rabbit, and gagged the blood from
his mouth. Realizing the rabbit wasn't dead,
he swiftly killed it. Quite proud of catching
speedy prey, he pranced back to the
WindClan deputy and set the rabbit down.
After just a moment, he nudged it toward her
so she knew it was WindClan's prey, not the tom's.
"Hunting."
Smearedpainting meowed smoothly. A smile
formed on his face.[/font][/sub][/right]

Smear smiled. The tom
loved hunting. It made
him feel free, and untamable.
He was also glad he was injuring
a creature because it would be of
