Bonjour
Ulysse Tixier de la Caillerie a soumis plusieurs prototypes de
véhicule amphibie mais le Service des Armées n'en a retenu
aucun.
Et pourtant ces engins étaient très spéciaux !!!
avec leur système gyroscopique qui leur permettait de rouler en
équilibre sur deux roues !

Ulysse Texier de la Caillerie : prophète amphibie
Pour une surprise, c'en est une ! Deux pages intérieures et la
dernière de couverture dans le célèbre magazine des faits-divers
et énigmes policières : DÉTECTIVE ! C'est le 13 avril 1953 que
s'y trouve honoré Ulysse Texier de la Caillerie "Bonnetier et
philosophe" comme le présente le magazine. C'est surtout cet
aspect de son activité que le journaliste René Pacaut met en
lumière, mais il ne fait pas l'impasse sur l'invention qui a
rendu l'homme connu des amateurs de curiosités roulantes : la
voiture amphibie !
Voiture n'est peut-être le mot le plus exact puisque sa machine
n'a que deux roues... comme sur une moto. Mais deux roues
parallèles et non en ligne, les roulettes n'étant là que pour
maintenir l'équilibre à l'arrêt. Donc on l'annexe au monde
motocycliste ! L'article à lire dans cette Revue retrace
l'aventure d'un homme qui n'est pas sans en évoquer d'autres
dont la carrière a débuté par la mécanique avant de s'aventurer
vers d'autres univers plus futuristes ou ésotériques.
