He continued to stand there and watch her. The 'Bonding' growing
ever stronger. He tried to divert his gaze, but she would always
bring it back to her.

Anya shivered suddenly, and placed the broom against the wall.
She rubbed her arms, feeling the goosebumps spreading across her
skin. She couldn't seem to get warm and be rid of them. She
licked her lips subconsciously before biting her lower lip.
"What the hell..." she whispered, noting that the thermostat was
set at a warm temp.

He removed his hand from the window, leaving a foggy handprint
in it's wake. He stepped back and removed his hood.
"Queens don't falter me now..." he whispered, keeping himself
from stepping for the door.

As if Anya had sensed him, she turned her gaze towards the store
front and saw the handprint left by Emrys. Her eyes then shifted
and landed on his form; her pupils dilating. She felt drawn to
him. Her heart once again began pounding in her chest, the sound
resonating in her ears as her arms slowly lowered to her sides.

He met her gaze and stilled in the darkness. He swallowed hard
and forced himself to shroud into the darkness once more. He had
wanted her to see him, but he just wanted to take her beyond the
veil. She had to want to though, and he had hoped the coin would
have compelled her enough. In his mind, he wondered if she
would.

She hesitated a moment, shifting her body to face the store
front, and then stood there a moment. Gaze still lingering on
the darkness, she grabbed her satchel and slowly walked forward
until she made it to the door.

He watched her, and when she started to move for the door, his
blood pounded in his body. Something inside him felt ready to
pounce, and he fought to keep it at bay.
'Are you seriously watching her right-...wait, is she?' Amyr's
voice echoed through his mind.
"Shut up!" Emrys growled and shooed him away like a fly. He
willed the door open for her, waiting...

And in that moment, she moved. She stepped over the threshold of
the door, skirt flaring from the breeze, and then she was right
there in front of him.

He looked down upon her, a slight smile crossing his face as he
dropped the shroud. Behind her, the door shut and the faint
sound of the lock turning could be heard, and the lights from
the store went dark.
He moved his hand from his cloak and brushed her cheek with the
backs of his fingers. He could smell the bond wafting off of
her, it was so strong.
"May I take you away?" he whispered softly, his violet eyes
meeting hers with that mysterious glow in them.

She found herself gazing up at the man from the previous night;
his eyes were so bright, and such an unusual color. It was as if
he was a magnet, she was so irresistibly drawn to him.
As his fingertips grazed her cheeks, she closed her eyes with a
shudder.
"I'm yours to take."
