Reil and Dani | A love for Azeroth’s Lifetime

Reilestra tucked some fruit and a few veggies into her pack, and
then leaned down and scruffed the mane of her pet lion. She
smiled as he roared and got up on his paws.
The cobbled streets were active as always today, she noticed
lots of the townsfolk strolling by as she crossed the bridge
over the canals and headed back for her little home in the
Dwarven District of town.
After some time of walking, she finally entered her home, and
she put her bag down on the table next to the fireplace. She
turned for the stairs and ascended the wooden steps to her
private room at the top. She brushed her hand over her favorite
pole arm as she stepped over the threshold and approached the
beautiful body of a woman lying in her bed. Her tall stature
made the other woman seem so small.
She leaned down, running her hand, practically the size of the
woman’s head, through her hair, she touched her own lips to the
human ear before her.
“Dani...” she whispered. “It’s time to wake up, love.”

The young woman nestled deeper under the sheets, making a quiet
sound of protest that was at once a yearning for the touch, but
a protest of where it was leading her. Her body twisted and
curled a little, tangling in the sheets, but also uncaring of
it. She only burrowed deeper into the pillow for a moment,
before she yawned, tightened her body into a close curl,
shivered, and then stretched it out, languously. Her green eyes
lacked their luster as they slid open, and she gazed up at Reil
for a moment, then, lacking anything interesting to say, and
really, moving muscles seemed like an unjustly difficult thing
to have to do so early in the morning, she moaned again, and
stretched from head to toe, kicking her arms and feet a little
whenever they were tangled in the sheet, so that she could end
up laying on her back underneath it. She held it to her breast
as she sat up.
"How is it morning already?" Her voice wasn't as grumpy as it
could have been, but she wasn't really trying to sell it.
Mornings were rather pleasant, lately, actually...

Reil watched her with an amused grin on her face. She laughed
slightly, and then put her arms out, reaching around the young
woman and pulling her against her own body. She gently kissed
her hair and rubbed her back. All of it looking as if a mother
were soothing her upset child.
“This is just the way it all works out, love.” She answered, her
platinum locks falling against Dani’s own hair. This was
certainly one of her favorite times of day, convincing Dani
everyday that it was a brighter day when she could look her in
the eye and kiss that sweet skin of hers.
“I’ve already been out and gotten something for our breakfast.
I’m sure you must be hungry by now.”

Dani sleepily returned the kiss, leaning against Reil
affectionately for a long, wonderful moment. She then dropped
the blanket, stretched her arms over her head, stifled the huge
yawn that threatened to make it's way out, and then ran fingers
through her sleep-tussled hair. It didn't take very long, but
it did well to help her wake up. She kicked the blanket off,
stood up, stretched again, and went about getting dressed. The
hot weather lately necessitated light, breathable shorts, and a
light tank-top.
"We should go swimming today!" She said as she dressed. Reil
would be used to that request, Dani made it almost every
morning. That's what you get for dating someone from a city
with like 8 canals running through it's length in various
directions. Even if they were kind of gross to swim in.
She tied her chocolate hair back into a ponytail, which made it
easy to see her emerald eyes. She ran her palms over her face
yawned into them again, shook herself out, then decided she was
ready to start the day. "Did they have apples or cherries
today? Oooh, or strawberries?" She asked, slipping her arms
around Reil's bicep in a vaguely possessive-and-possessed sort
of way, and hugging that arm to her very lightly. She sort of
steered the way to the kitchen.

Reil laughed at the original request and then grinned as she
held Dani's arm in return.
"There were strawberries, a rather decent amount." She slipped
her fingers through her long white hair that fell in her face
and took the lead in heading for the dining table. She heaved
the bag from the table she dropped it to the dining table and
started pulling each item out.
Strawberries, a couple melons, some various vegetables, and
countless other things that heed no value to mention.
"With the things I bought yesterday, I could pull together a
pretty decent breakfast." She seemed rather proud of herself as
she emptied the bag and hung it on a hand made hook next to the
fireplace.
She sat down in a chair next to Dani and reached out, brushing
hair from her own eyes again.
"Breakfast and then maybe a trip to the lake."

Reil's arm would find itself released once they got to the
dining room. Instead, the lounge-wear clad Dani found her way
to sitting in a chair. Her lips formed an impish grin, and she
pulled her legs up so that she could hug them, folded, to her
chest, and rest her cheek against her knee. The impish look
faded to something a little more normally cheerful.
"I think I'll have some bread and cheese to go with the
strawberries, please, if you don't mind." She always preferred
meals that had a variety of textures and tastes, preferring a
wide variety of little bites of different things rather than a
big helping of her favorite things.
Her emerald eyes were starting to seem more expressive, as time
passed, and the dryness of sleep gave way. The laughter in them
shone through and through.

She nodded, leaning and giving Dani a sweet peck on her cheek.
"Of course. There's still some cheese leftover from the dinner
we had the other night." She stood from her chair and walked
over taking a bundle of what looked like cloth from a shelf and
unwound it.
"Bejuna and I had a nice walk this morning. You should have
gone. The flower shop was loaded with lots of new colors." At
this point, hearing his name, the lion that was settled in the
corner of the room lifted his head, yawning with a quiet roar,
and then sneezed.

Dani leaned her head a little to more easily present her cheek
for Reil to kiss. She made a quiet sound of grateful pleasure
at the contact, then looked towards the window.
"Well, if I'd been awake, I would have." She yawned lightly,
hidden behind a palm she raised specifiically for that purpose,
and then released her legs to let them slip down so she was
sitting more properly in her chair, and more comfortably too.
"I don't mind the chance to sleep in once in a while either,
though. It's all your fault I get to sleep so late, after all,
you know!" She teased delightedly, blatently ignoring the
cardinal rule about messing with people who are preparing your
food.

Reil laughed lightly as she prepared the food she had set out.
"I personally enjoy our long nights together." She responded,
reaching for a hand carved knife on the shelf nearby. The sound
of the knife tapping the wood surface followed, and as she
turned slightly to look at Dani, she grinned and popped a small
piece of cheese in her mouth. "And it's fun anyway." She smirked
with a wink before turning back. She put the knife down and ran
her fingers through her hair, twisting it up into what could be
comparable to a cinnamon roll on the top of her head. She pulled
a small leather string from her right bracer and wound it
tightly around the lump of hair and then turned again to face
Dani.
She walked over with a small wooden platter of strawberries and
cubes of cheese and sat at the table.

Dani giggled just a little, and popped another strawberry into
her mouth. Her eyes fluttered with pleasure, from the sweet
tartness, and she made a little sound to go with it. A little
cheese to go with it, and it was perfect. She claimed a few
pieces of each, cheese and strawberries, and set about nibbling
them slowly. She's never been much for breakfast, but it -is-
the most important meal of the day.
"Isn't it nice when it's fun too?" She beamed a beatific smile
at Reil, and popped another cheese cube into her mouth. "But you
are way more the night owl than I am. I suppose it's all right
there in being called 'Night Elves' though, I suppose I can't
say I wasn't warned."
