She faltered for a moment and then smiled, tucking a strand of
hair behind her ear, and bowing her head a bit bashfully.
"Sure..."she nodded, hey keys rattling in her hand as she
started trembling with a bit of excitement.

She looked over at him, as he approached her and she turned to
the door and started walking. "Maybe..." she swallowed. "We
could have coffee sometime too?"

"Coffee would be great," he replied. "You have my number in my
file, so just call me and we can set it up."
He was feeling a bit hopeful.

She smiled, meeting his gaze directly and nodded. "Alright, I'll
do that." She opened the door and started out to her car.

"Bye Micki," he blurted, then cursed himself internally. The

She opened her car door and looked up at him. Her cheeks would
be stained red after tonight, she'd never be able to stop
blushing. This was ridiculous. She simply waved back at him,
mentally noting that he'd already nicknamed her, but not really
complaining, everyone called her that anyway. "Bye Duo." she
responded and slipped into her car.
Pulling away, she couldn't wait until coffee, heck, she couldn't
wait for anything. She kind of wanted to stay. Wait what? She
barely knew him. She sighed as she watched him get further and
further away and then slip out of sight as she left the yard.

Duo waved, watching as her car drove off the property. He heaved
a sigh and dug out his cell phone as he headed back inside. He
scrolled through his contacts list until he hit 'H', and then
selected the only name there and hit dial. As the line rang, he
grabbed himself a beer and sat down.

At the Relena's estate, Heero had waited until she went to bed
for the night. He was exhausted from the entire day, standing
around. Being merely a face to turn away people who might cause
violence to Relena was still a tedious job. After he'd close the
door to her suite, her headed for the parlor and simply grabbed
a beer from the mini fridge. He hated all of her expensive
drinking tastes so he always kept a good beer on hand.
He popped the top off and tossed it away in the trash as he
headed for the balcony. He had just leaned against the railing
and taken a sip when his phone started buzzing in his pocket. He
searched the depths of his suit pocket and pulled the phone from
within and only hit the answer key when he seen Duo calling.
"Hey Duo." he answered, quietly.

"Hey man, you still on duty? Or can you get away for a few
hours?" He spoke cheerfully when his friend and fellow ex-pilot
answered the phone. He hadn't seen the man in a couple weeks.
