Once inside, she turned around to face him, admiring the inside.
"Well at least it's homey in here. Definitely not what it seems
from the outside. You're a very well kept man, Duo Maxwell." she
complimented.

She looked for the nearest place to sit and eat and took a seat.
"I wish I could keep my place nearly as clean. With me working
so much, I barely get a couple of hours to clean house and even
during those couple of hours, I'm so tired I just want to
sleep." She chuckled a little. Ugh, why was she embarrassing
herself like this?

"That sucks, I'm sorry," he said sympathetically. He sat down
with her and grabbed his food. "I get a lot of down time during
certain seasons, and I don't really use much."

She took out a fry and one of her burgers, and unwrapped it,
beginning to eat. "You'd think as one person it would be easy to
not use much. And I can imagine for you it probably makes it a
lot easier. One person living for the win..." she said
sarcastically and took a bite of her burger.

and occasionally glancing at him when he wasn't paying
attention.

When they were finished, Duo grabbed their trash and took it
into the kitchen to throw away. "That was nice," he admitted as
he walked back in.

She was getting up and grabbing her keys. "Indeed, it was.
Thanks for letting me eat here. It was definitely better than
eating a cold sandwich and stale fries."
