She watched him for some minutes and then chuckled at his body
language as she sighed, and clocked out for the evening. She
grabbed her sweater and her clutch from the bottom desk drawer
as well as her car keys. She walked out the door and locked it
up before turning around and looking at Duo.
"Can I give you a lift somewhere?" she asked, clicking the
button on her key fob and sounding the alarm on her car nearby.

Duo looked up at her a bit dejectedly and nodded with a sigh.
"Yeah, please. If you don't mind," he replied. "Just back to my
place. It's not far."

She nodded and walked to her car. She tossed her sweater in the
back and her clutch under the seat. She got in and sat down,
pulling the seat belt over her shoulder. "Just tell me where I'm
going."

He slid in and buckled himself up, checking out the car's
interior. "Um, that junkyard over off of 5th Ave," he said.
"There is fine."

She gave him a strange look as she turned the key and started
the car. "Oh...okay. Well...do you mind if I stop for a bite to
eat on the way? I didn't pack my lunch today...I'm starving!"
she giggled.

"Sure! My treat, since you're giving me a ride," he looked at
her with an insistent look. "Just pick the place."

He caught her off guard with this statement and smiled.
"Very well then." she nodded, pulling out of the parking lot and
heading down the drive. She was silent for a time after that,
and then her favorite song came on the radio and she started
singing it aloud. She didn't really even think about it though,
she just did it. A velvety voice, she had and a smile on her
face as she sang the words.

He glanced over at her. "You're a pretty good singer," he mused.
She was cute too. Cute usually got him in trouble.

She stopped quickly and glanced over at him. "Oh...thanks." she
grinned bashfully. God! Why couldn't she stop blushing?! She
tightened her thighs together unconsciously and her hands
tightened around the steering wheel.
"So...what do you do at the junkyard?" Quickly, she changed the
subject.

"Uh... Junk stuff. More or less," he chuckled at her reaction
and leaned against the door slightly. "I mean I also do
recycling and handy work."
